CD云上This is the most abundant dinner in the past few days. I feel that it is the most abundant and satisfying meal in the past few days. I had a good meal, chatted, and joked. I felt relieved from the fatigue of the day. A group of people gathered together, to the same destination, sitting around the same table, eating unique food, it is really worth life. Let's talk about the dishes Yak hot pot with barbecue: large pieces of yak meat, full of juice, fragrant and full of satiety, full of energy blessing, plus barbecue, grilled mushrooms are really worth aftertaste, special taste, a feeling of not being able to stop. Stir-fried dishes: I especially recommend the mint fried ribs, which are crispy and tender and not greasy. The paddle tofu is golden on the outside and soft and tender on the inside, delicious! The stir-fried beef goes well with rice, and everyone was very happy to eat it.

The environment is very good! On the ancient city of Pijiangpo, the decoration is very tasteful, surrounded by flowers and plants, and there is a small courtyard inside. The seats are very comfortable. In short, it is worth recommending! The dishes are delicious and very good
Aoki Kitchen must be praised. The restaurant is clean and tidy. We also ordered a few stir-fried dishes. I think the vegetarian dishes are delicious because we have been eating some hairy beef these days. Everyone was very happy.
This Tibetan-style private kitchen has been open for 8 years, located inside Dukezong Ancient Town! It's not a trendy spot! It's mostly frequented by locals; it's a very hidden little shop 🥹🥹. Everything is cooked to order, so the ingredients are incredibly fresh!! The stir-fried yak meat with scallions was absolutely delicious! The seasoning wasn't overpowering; it brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients! We even took some home to go. They also had stir-fried chicken with two kinds of peppers, deer antler mushrooms, yak meat buns… every dish was so delicious 😭. The service and value for money are excellent! They also have Tibetan hot pot and barbecue; I definitely have to try it next time I'm in Shangri-La!! #ShangriLaTravel #ShangriLa #PrivateKitchen #DukezongAncientTown #YunnanTravelGuide
[Mommy-Free Index: ★★★★★] Who understands! Taking the kid to Diqing, not only did we catch the sunrise over the golden mountains, but I also didn't have to carry the baby or rush them the entire time—this guide perfectly seals the deal between "kids having a blast and mom getting some rest," you can just copy it! 🚗 Transportation with Kids: Less hassle = Less stress for mom • Major Transportation: Prioritize direct flights to Shangri-La (airport bus 30 RMB to the Old Town), if that's too expensive, choose "high-speed rail + shuttle" (high-speed rail connects to the Jinsha River Canyon, kids can enjoy the scenery without fuss). • Local Activities: ✅ Tram rental in the Old Town 30 RMB/day: Kids sit in the front safety seat, hold onto the handrails themselves and don't cling. ✅ Shared ride to Meili Snow Mountain 150 RMB/person: The driver also acts as a "temporary kid-watcher," helping to look after the kids and telling stories about the snow mountain. 🎡 Family Activities: Kids can play wildly, mom can relax. • Dukezong Old Town: Visit Guishan Park + touch the world's largest prayer wheel, rent Tibetan costumes for 50 RMB for family photos—kids run and jump around, I sit on the stone steps drinking butter tea and waiting for the photos to come out (tested and incredibly photogenic!). • Songzanlin Monastery: Arrive early at 7:30! No crowds + kids follow the guide and focus on the red walls, no tourists at the entrance, no need to drag the kids to prevent them from getting lost • Napa Lake: The grassland is lush and green in May! We fed the fearless black-necked cranes with the kids, who ran around like crazy for an hour → I sat on the terrace of "Peninsula Coffee," enjoying sweet tea while watching the snow-capped mountains (the kids chased butterflies on their own, not clinging to me). • Meili Snow Mountain (the highlight: the golden sunrise!): Staying in a room with a view, you can just lie in bed and wait! The kids wrapped in blankets watched the snow-capped mountains turn golden, wearing red clothes for silhouette photos – perfect for profile pictures! 🍜 Tibetan Cuisine: Kids love it + no need to coax them • Must-try list (tested and kids can proudly show off two bowls): ✅ "Quiet Mani Stone" Yak Meat Hot Pot: The soup is fresh and not spicy; the kids couldn't stop eating the beef brisket. ✅ Nixi Clay Pot Chicken: So delicious it'll make your eyebrows fall off! My child drank two bowls of soup! ✅ Braised Chicken with Barley Cake: The cake was soaked in the soup, and my child ate it all by himself. • Avoid these pitfalls: Buy dried yak meat at the old town market (half the price of the tourist area, and the child can try it); choose barley wine from the guesthouse for 10 yuan per pot—slightly sweet and not intoxicating. 🏨 Save money on accommodation: The owner helps watch the child! • Arenboqi Guesthouse: Sister Zhuoma plays Tibetan games with the child, and I can relax on the sofa and drink butter tea. • Feilai Temple View Guesthouse: The child can see the snow-capped mountains from the bed! The owner provided children's meals and picture books, so I could enjoy stargazing on the terrace after the kids fell asleep. 📅2 Days 1 Night Lazy Itinerary (Kids Don't Cry) Day 1: Arrive in Shangri-La → Dukezong Ancient Town (prayer wheel + Tibetan costume photos) → Yak hotpot (kids fell asleep instantly after eating) Day 2: Songzanlin Monastery (arrive early, no one's around) → Pudacuo National Park hiking (bring oxygen, kids walked slowly and didn't complain) → Horse riding at Napa Lake → Overnight at Napa Lake Day 3: Meili Snow Mountain to watch the sunrise over the golden peaks →Buy souvenirs in Nisi village→Return trip ⚠️Key reminders for traveling with kids (mommy tips) 1. Altitude sickness: Prepare grape-flavored oral liquid (kids love it and don't resist), rest immediately if they feel unwell. 2. Protection: Make sure your child wears "anti-slip" sunglasses and a hat, apply SPF50+ sunscreen directly, no need for repeated reminders. 3. Etiquette: Teach your child beforehand "circumambulate the temple clockwise, don't take pictures of Buddha statues," and your child remembered and didn't make any mistakes. 💬Have you ever taken your kids to chase the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains?
