The taste is OK. The Roselle tomato is not tasty. I forced myself to eat it.
Just took my 20-month-old daughter to Xiong'an for two days and one night this weekend! Here's my fresh travel itinerary! We stayed at the Sofitel Xiong'an, a 1-1.5 hour drive from Beijing. This decision was absolutely brilliant! Even in the 40-degree heat, the hotel stay was incredibly fulfilling. - ⌛️Day 1 Beijing—Sofitel Xiong'an—Hotel Afternoon Tea—Aibao Playground—Hotel Water Play Area—Hotel Dinner—Xiong'an Eye ☕️Hotel Afternoon Tea: After Mai Mai's afternoon nap, I took her to the afternoon tea on the first floor of the hotel. The set menu was beautifully presented, with both sweet and savory options, both delicious. Tea and coffee were also available. 🎠Aibao Playground: Located on the hotel's B1 level, this children's playground is a great way for babies to burn off energy. The ball pit, soft-padded climbing frame, and slides are very child-friendly, and the picture book area and Lego blocks kept her entertained. 🏊Children's Wading Pool: The hotel has a large swimming pool and children's wading pool on the 4th floor. The water temperature is kept constant, which is fantastic, allowing even young babies to play comfortably. 🍴Le Xuan Chinese Restaurant: When traveling, it's important to eat well in addition to enjoying the accommodations. We chose Le Xuan Chinese Restaurant on the 3rd floor of the hotel for dinner, which was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance was great, and the food was delicious. We and our child were very satisfied. We ordered a set meal for two, which included four hot dishes, two cold dishes, a main course, and a fruit platter. The portions were quite generous. The steamed sea bass and stir-fried beef with yellow peppers are reportedly popular signature dishes. We were quite full but didn't want to waste food, so we ate a lot more. We ordered a children's set meal for Mai Mai, which included potato salad, shrimp and egg custard, vegetable and egg drop soup, millet and pumpkin porridge, and homemade yogurt. It was nutritionally balanced, and Mai Mai ate it all by herself with great relish. 👀Eye of Xiong'an: Located near the hotel, about a 5-minute walk. It's especially beautiful when lit up at night. ⛲️There are several parks near the hotel, perfect for taking kids if the weather isn't too hot. Yue Rong Park, similar to the Summer Palace in Xiong'an, is right across from the hotel. Xiong'an Country Park offers boating, camping, and sand play. ⌛️Day 2: Xinma Forest Animal Park—Back to Beijing Xinma is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. It's a zoo with rides, water play, sandpit, and camping. The ticket includes unlimited rides and various animal shows. We brought cabbages and carrots to feed the animals. The park is quite large, so renting an electric cart makes the experience more comfortable. See my vlog for more details about the park! Summer vacation is approaching, so ladies planning to bring their kids to Xiong'an can check this out! #BeijingWeekendGetaway #Xiong'anTravelGuide #Xiong'anNewArea #Xiong'anXinmaForestAnimalPark #Xiong'anCityWalk
