Qinzhou | A Small Coastal City - Travel Guide Qinzhou Sanniang Bay: A small coastal fishing village and a famous dolphin-watching spot. Join other tourists on a speedboat to explore the sea, and with good weather and luck, you might even spot pink dolphins. Qinzhou Xili Bay (Moon Bay): A curved natural beach where you can watch sunsets, fireworks, jet skis, and surf, perfect for photos. Qinzhou Sandun Maritime Highway: Trees line the road, and the water can be quite fishy, so fly a drone to observe the sea. Qinzhou Zhongshan Old Street: The distinctive arcade-style buildings of Guangdong and Guangxi are a perfect spot for photo opportunities. Pottery: Qinzhou Nixing pottery is one of China's four famous ceramics, so a visit to Qinzhou is a must-do, where you can purchase or create your own pottery. Food: Pork trotter noodles, oysters, sweet soup, Vietnamese rice noodle rolls, kudzu eggs, Lingshan jelly, sea duck eggs, cucumber peels, eel porridge... Recommended restaurants: Heji Yimalu's long-established sweet soup shop and Tianying Guanyu Seafood City. Accommodation: You can stay in the city center or at Sanniang Bay B&B, where the owners are very welcoming. Qinzhou, Guangxi
"Before leaving Yulin, I suddenly had the urge to visit Qinzhou and experience this less commercialized city with its relaxed pace." 🚄Transportation: While the distance between the beach and the city center is a bit long, Qinzhou's attractions are relatively concentrated, making transportation affordable. If you're not driving, you can take a taxi or bus. [Hotel] Accommodation: Choose a B&B. Because Qinzhou is relatively unpopular, the quality of B&Bs is relatively low. While our stay was pleasant, if you don't plan to cook, I recommend staying in a hotel. The price difference is not significant. [RoundNails] Itinerary (2 Days, 1 Night) 🌸Day 1: Zhongshan Old Street - Pingnan Ancient Ferry (Yimalu Bell Tower) - Heji Tangshui - Jianmei Road Snack Street 🌸Day 2: Sanniang Bay - Xili Bay - Return &About Attractions: 1. Zhongshan Old Street & Zhonglou: Great for photo opportunities 2. Sanniang Bay: If you're not planning on dolphin watching, Sanniang Bay is not recommended; the water isn't clear enough. The dolphin watching trip was a good value. It was a shame we didn't see any dolphins, but the seafood was delicious. Lying in the hammock and enjoying the sea breeze was also very comfortable. 3. Xiyu Bay: Compared to Sanniang Bay, it needs better planning. The tourist facilities are not yet complete, and there are no photo spots on the sea. The highlight!! The water here glows!! We arrived at a bad time, so we didn't get to see the glowing water and sunset, which is a beautiful combination! 4. Food: [○] 1. He Ji Tang Shui: There are several self-service sweet soup stalls on Jianshe Road, but this one is the most popular. For just 4 yuan, you can enjoy as much sweet soup as you want. It's really tempting!!! [○] 2. Stinky Tofu: The stinky tofu here comes with sour bamboo shoots. The stinky tofu in the soup is crispy and delicious. I love it!!! Right at the intersection with He Ji Tang Shui~ [○]3. Xi Zhou Braised Pork Belly & Fried Tuberose: We originally planned to go to Jianshe Road Snack Street, but we noticed a lot of locals at these two places, so curiosity drove us to sit down. The braised intestines are a must-try, and the fried rice noodle rolls are also special~ [○]4. Seafood: We randomly found a place to eat in Sanniang Bay and were pleasantly surprised. The prices were reasonable, the food was delicious, and the salt and pepper mantis shrimp were incredibly fragrant! Tips [!][!][!]: [!]1. Pay attention to the weather forecast. While seeing dolphins requires luck, sunny days are definitely more likely than rainy days. Plus, only sunny days allow you to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. [Rainbow][Rainbow] [!]2. If you enjoy the ocean and water activities, stay near Sanniang Bay. If you enjoy photography and food, stay near the city center (near Niannianfeng Shopping Mall). Finally, I wish you all a happy trip and lots of beautiful photos! [Victory][Victory] #HowToQinzhou #GuangxiQinzhouSanniangwan #GuangxiQinzhouTours #SafeTravelNearbyTravelDestinations
