The most unique delicacy I had in Ulanqab was this Bai Da Pancake.

This 30-year-old shop is a household name in Ulanqab, and while it&#39;s now an internet sensation, locals still frequent it.

The shop is clean, tidy, and stylishly decorated. It has several rooms, filled with tables of all sizes. When we arrived, the last table for two was already occupied, and the line of people waiting outside quickly grew to dozens.

The pancakes are all made and baked fresh, right before you eat them, through the large, transparent glass windows, allowing for a clear view.

We ordered one each of camel meat, lamb, and beef, and they were incredibly fragrant and delicious. The signature Datong stir-fried pork slices are generously portioned, delicious, and incredibly tender&mdash;a must-try! The lamb tripe with scallions is incredibly refreshing, and each table also comes with a large bowl of millet porridge.
