Today, Shiping Guild Hall, the only remaining ancient building in the city, has reproduced the glory of history and has become a distinctive tourist window in Simao and even Pu'er City. On December 16, 2015, the Pu'er Municipal People's Government announced Shiping Guild Hall as a key cultural relic protection unit in Pu'er City. Shiping Guild Hall has a long history and its internal components are intact. Its pillars, beams and frames are all original. It is an important cultural relic protection unit in Pu'er City and an important node on the Yunnan-Tibet Ancient Tea-Horse Road.
