D了个YA top-ranked rice noodle shop in the area. I gave up my hotel room and came here to experience the local atmosphere. It was past 10 o'clock and there were still a lot of people. The line was long. The menu was simple, with only four categories. The price was affordable. You can take your own bowl, add toppings, and follow the flow of people. It feels easy. The portion is large. I really didn't eat any toppings. The taste is light. You can add condiments by yourself. A big steaming bowl. After a few bites, my pores are open. There is fruit vinegar on the side, which can be added with ice. Unlimited drinking. The taste is pretty good.

🔥Pu'er Food Frenzy! 3 Days of Eating Your Way Through the Most Authentic Simao Flavors🍜 I've discovered a hidden gem of a food scene super close to the Pu'er Deting Garden Hotel! Incredibly convenient (and the food is absolutely delicious!). These are all long-established local favorites that locals have been eating at since childhood👉🏻 🍗【Ma Dai Ba Hu】 📍North of Manwo Village Committee ✨Have you ever seen hand-grabbed rice served in a bamboo woven sack? The fatty yet not greasy braised pork dipped in their special pickled vegetable paste is absolutely amazing! The portions are so large that three people can eat their fill for only 50 RMB per person! I recommend going at lunchtime, as popular dishes tend to sell out quickly in the evening~ 🍧【Shi Mei Niang Restaurant】 📍Opposite Jin Jin Hotel 💥The signature iced papaya juice is a must-try! The magical combination of papaya shreds, ice cubes, and brown sugar syrup is a sweet and sour, refreshing treat! Paired with their Dai-style fried pork skin, a crispy and refreshing combination is simply perfect! There's also chicken tofu, incredibly smooth and creamy, you won't get tired of it at all! 🍜【Authentic Yang Ji Pu'er Rice Noodles with Sour Vinegar】 📍No. 59 Taiping Street ⚠️A legendary rice noodle shop with queues starting at 6 AM! Sweet and sour bone broth + a self-service condiment station with over 20 kinds of ingredients, the rice noodles are incredibly smooth! A secret tip: add a spoonful of chili paste and mint leaves! And top it off with iced vinegar! Amazing! ❄️【Old Bai Ethnic Cold Noodles Shop】 📍100 meters from Moonlight Road towards Zhushi Street (east side of the road) 💯The cold rice noodles are amazing! The secret-recipe meat topping is the soul of the dish! All kinds of chicken feet and cold fruit salad... I could eat this all day!!! Highly recommend the oil-drenched beans (those who don't eat Litsea cubeba might not like it). The auntie insists on using traditional stone mills to make the rice jelly, which has an incredibly smooth texture. It might sell out after 6 PM, so go early! 🌟Tips: ▪️Dai cuisine tends to be sour and spicy, so remember to bring tissues to wipe away sweat. ▪️Pu'er has strong UV rays, so remember to reapply sunscreen after eating. #Pu'erFood #YunnanOffTheBeatenPath #SourAndSpicyLovers #TraditionalSnacks #SimaoMustEatList

Banna is overly commercialized, and many of the scenic spots weren't appealing to us. After researching our itinerary, we discovered Pu'er was easily accessible, so let's go! 🛫 Banna-Pu'er: There are plenty of high-speed trains, but as a local, we still bought round-trip tickets in advance. We headed out immediately after arriving at the hotel. 👉 Authentic Yangji Pu'er Sour Vinegar Rice Noodles are delicious and filling—definitely order the small portion! The rice noodles are cooked in a clay pot, and everything else is self-service. The vinegar is made in a jar and is so delicious I wanted to take some home. The driver said this place has been around for years, and the food is authentic. The overhead fan and the occasional cool breeze were truly delightful in the sweltering heat. After dinner, I wandered around the area and stumbled upon a vintage shop on P2. It's quite a gem. I bought a ring I really liked there, and the photos I took at the entrance were also stunning. [Daijiaxiang]: Well-preserved residential buildings. I highly recommend stopping by [Yicaoxiangzi] for a stroll. They've retained their original architectural style and added some vintage pieces. We sipped coffee and daydreamed upstairs while the grandparents played cards downstairs. It was so relaxing. There's even crafts to do in the back. We were originally heading to Julie's photo spot, but the torrential downpour made it impossible to move! It looked like a wall inside a work unit. I didn't see it, but I wouldn't recommend it because you'd have to take a taxi there. I highly recommend the sour papaya at [April Asakusa Breeze]. It's really delicious, different from Mixue's lemonade. It's sweet and sour, and I love it. Those who don't like sweet drinks ordered standard sugar, but it was a bit too sweet at the end. I recommend opening stores nationwide. [Ziyuan Coffee Factory] We looked at several coffee factories and couldn't decide which one to choose. In the end, we chose this one, and we loved it. But Niuma actually pulled out his computer to work while it was so chill. [Oven-baked Pizza] is a must-try. The crust is soft and crispy, and delicious. For those who love alcohol, you absolutely have to try the [Whiskey Coffee]. It has a light whiskey flavor, and I loved it. I even bought whiskey coffee beans and drip coffee after I got home. The Americano is super cute—I don't know what variety it is, but I was so tempted that I stole our pizza! Hahahahaha Pu'er is small, so accommodations are convenient. Taxis are affordable, and you can even get around by electric cart. #Pu'erTravel #Pu'erGuide #Pu'erCoffeeManor
