M2f***xeA Delicious Encounter in Yunshuiyao – A Review of a Fujian-Guangdong Local Cuisine Restaurant Our trip to Yunshuiyao Scenic Area was made even more delightful by this discovery: a Fujian-Guangdong local cuisine restaurant. The owner was incredibly welcoming and even helped us take photos, so we're giving her this positive review as a memento. Stepping inside, the rustic decor perfectly complemented the natural scenery and charming atmosphere of Yunshuiyao. The wooden tables and chairs, along with the folk decorations on the walls, instantly immersing us in the local life. As for the dishes, every single one was exceptional. The signature Hakka-style braised pork belly was a beautiful reddish-brown, its appearance alone enough to whet our appetites. The Hakka handmade taro dumplings were even more amazing; the meat was soft and tender, and the savory flavor danced on our taste buds. The salt and pepper river shrimp dish showcased the undeniable freshness of the ingredients. The tenderness of the river shrimp and the fresh aroma of the chives blend perfectly, maximizing the shrimp's sweetness and allowing the chives to absorb the shrimp's flavor, creating a rich and layered taste that becomes increasingly fragrant with each chew. The signature free-range chicken soup is simply an ultimate treat for the taste buds. The broth is golden and rich, exuding a mellow aroma. A gentle sip releases a burst of delicious flavor in your mouth. The red mushroom and free-range chicken soup features incredibly tender chicken that melts in your mouth, nourishing and delicious, making you feel as warm as home. The service here is also exceptionally attentive. The waiters are warm and hospitable, always with genuine smiles, patiently introducing the dishes and offering reasonable ordering suggestions based on our tastes and number of people. During the meal, they frequently come to inquire about our dining experience, promptly refilling our tea and water, making us feel very comfortable. In the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area, the Fujian and Guangdong local cuisine restaurant is not only a great place to enjoy delicious food but also an excellent place to experience the local customs and culture. If you come here, don't miss this hidden gem of a restaurant; it will surely give you an unforgettable culinary journey!
Food: The Hakka cuisine at this Min-Yue restaurant was truly excellent. The ingredients were fresh, and this was the most satisfying meal of my trip to Fujian. I was especially pleased with their handmade five-spice rolls; the innovative presentation showed a commitment to the restaurant business, understanding the importance of innovation and preserving authentic traditional handmade dishes. The "Nine Gates Head" (a type of tofu skin) was also very tender, and the salt-wine chicken truly tasted authentically Hakka. Service: The tea they served us was refreshingly sweet. Transportation: Parking is very convenient. You'll pass by this restaurant on your way to Yunshuiyao.

The food was delicious. This long-established local restaurant offers generous portions, leaving you full. The ambiance is great, and the location is easy to find, right on the way to Yunshuiyao Scenic Area. There's a large parking lot in front, and the storefront is impressive. The taste speaks for itself; a true Hakka family returning to their ancestral home would choose this restaurant. Their salt-baked chicken is particularly authentic. Seeing so many locals here, I can say I made the right choice – great value for money! I can even use a coupon now. I haven't eaten much these past few days, and this restaurant was perfect for my taste. I'll definitely eat here again if I want Hakka cuisine; you can order anything without feeling ripped off, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable.
[Rice] Taste: We ordered the local specialty steamed fish. Surprisingly, the fish scales became more fragrant the more you chewed them. The fish meat was quite tender, and there were also wild river shrimp, which were very fragrant, tender, and crispy. | Steamed Chunian Ecological Gudgeon (Fish scales are edible)^| Salt and pepper ecological river shrimp^ My mom loves the taro buns; they're soft and chewy, and the portion is generous. The filling of shiitake mushrooms, lean meat, and dried bamboo shoots is quite fragrant. | Hakka handmade taro buns^ [Mint] Environment: The environment looks very clean and new. I asked the owner how long she'd been open, and she told me several years. It looked very tidy. [Service Bell] Service: The service was excellent. They asked if we had a good dining experience. If we weren't satisfied, we could change the dishes, which was really great. [Candy] Value for Money: Relatively reasonable. During our stay in the Tulou area, this meal was quite filling and enjoyable.
