On my second day in Lushan, I checked out Yang Chu, a popular local restaurant with a distinctly Lushan feel. The ambiance is very comfortable, with simple, elegant decor. The dishes we ordered were all their signature dishes, and they were all delicious. Since it was raining today, we even ordered a cola ginger soup. The waiter was also very friendly. Must-order dishes: Braised Fish Head with Fish Soup, Squid Tentacles with Chives, Sichuan Spicy Chicken, Braised Old Duck with Asparagus, Black Pepper Beef Short Ribs, Lettuce, and Stir-fried Pork with Peppercorns. The old duck soup was absolutely delicious. After a day of exploring the scenic area, it was wonderful to sit down and enjoy a sip.
