We slept until we woke up naturally every day, feeling so comfortable we didn't want to leave. 📅 A literal itinerary: Day 1: Departed from Guangzhou by train a little after 9 AM → Checked into the hotel in Liuzhou → Headed straight to Feiluozhuang for a duck feet stew → Strolled along the Liujiang River in the evening to enjoy the breeze → Back to the hotel at 7 AM to relax (yes, we're that relaxed) Day 2: Woke up a little after 9 AM for breakfast → Strolled through Longtan Park (lots of women taking photos, free photos for 5 RMB per film, and the scenery was beyond your reach) → Eat snail noodles at a random roadside shop → Take the 3 RMB water bus Take the bus to see the river view → Eat raw beef with fish roe at Liu Xi La → Visit Yaobu Ancient Town → Return to the hotel for a rest at 8 PM Day 3: Wake up again around 9 AM (who knows? Vacation means getting enough sleep) → After breakfast at the hotel, head to Ma'anshan Park (if you don't want to climb, take the elevator, 30 yuan round trip. The panoramic views of Liuzhou are incredible. The duck feet are so tender and fall off the bone that even someone like me who doesn't usually eat duck feet managed to get several (the taro is just average, so you can skip it). ▫️Liu Xi La: The raw beef with fish roe is a must try! The rareness is perfect, and the texture is fantastic, with absolutely no raw or fishy smell (though their fried snail noodles aren't as good as Feiluozhuang's). ▫️Dang Niu Lao: The cold beef offal is sweet and sour, a recipe I've never had in Guangzhou. The offal is fresh, and you can choose the types by weight, so you can add whatever you like. (All three restaurants offer set menus with signature dishes, which are very cost-effective.) 💡 Tips: Liuzhou cuisine tends to be spicy and sour, so the elderly and children may need some adjustment, but spicy food lovers will love it! Longtan Park offers great photo spots, so go early if you want to capture beautiful photos. The Ma'anshan elevator is 30 yuan round trip, perfect for those who don't want to hike, and the sunset in the evening is absolutely stunning!
