I posted a travel guide to Lincang two days ago, and many locals commented: There may not be much fun here, but it&#39;s delicious!
So today let&#39;s talk about the food and snacks in Lincang, and locals are welcome to recommend them!

Lincang is a Wa and Dai prefecture, so there are both Yunnan-style rice noodles and bean powder baba rolls, as well as ethnic snacks and Burmese-style food

🚗 Food route arrangement

D1 Arrive at noon and have a bowl of braised rice noodles, walk around the old street in the afternoon (see my previous notes for the route), and meet Pao Lu Da for dessert. For dinner, you can eat Mantingyuan Dai cuisine or banana leaf rice and chicken rice opposite, then go for a walk in Yulong Lake, and have Renmin Road baba rolls for supper in the evening

D2 In the morning, have a thin bean powder rice noodle breakfast, go to the museum, eat Sapi rice noodles/Wa cuisine at noon, and pack Jiang&#39;s chicken feet for the return trip in the afternoon

1⃣️ Shuangshuijing Luzi Rice Noodles
It&#39;s an old shop on the pedestrian street, quite spacious. Although it&#39;s rice noodles, there are many braised dishes and thin bean powder. A large table of seasonings for self-service

2⃣️ Transportation Company Pojiao Thin Bean Powder Rice Noodles
Yunnan specialty thin bean powder, mixed with rice noodle seasoning, so fresh and fragrant. There are all over the streets of Lincang. I ate at a neighborhood shop near the station, but it looks good, and the seasoning is also a special large table, and the taste is good

3⃣️ Renmin Road Beef Skewers Baba Rolls
It is quite famous and only opens at night. Maybe the expectations are high and it feels okay. Babajuan Fengqing snack, similar to Jianbingguozi with diluted bean powder, usually with beef skewers, not bad

4⃣️ Chicken rotten rice
A special snack of the Wa ethnic group, available in every Wa restaurant. It is not easy to order in a restaurant alone, so I went to the Banana Leaf Rice Dry Shop. I was worried about its small shop, but it tasted okay, added fennel, and the price was cheap

5⃣️ Banana Leaf Rice Dry
Still the Banana Leaf. Banana leaves look pretty good, the rice noodles are sour, spicy and sweet in Dai style, delicious, not large in quantity, and chicken rice

6⃣️ Sa Pi Rice Noodles
A Dai snack, I have eaten Sa Pi in Mangshi, and the rice noodles are a substitute. It is divided into sour and bitter. I would recommend the sour taste for the first time. Maybe the bitter taste is more pure. Has anyone tried it?

7⃣️ Jiang&#39;s Chicken Feet
A local old-fashioned chicken feet shop, just buy some to make a midnight snack at night. If you eat in, you can also have cold dishes and Tremella soup.

8⃣️ Pao Lu Da
Myanmar desserts are available in southwest Yunnan. Bread cubes and coconut shreds are featured. Most hotels and dessert shops have them.

🌃 Mian Lin Night Market
Mainly some barbecue supper, etc., which should be quite comfortable in summer. It feels quite depressed now, so you don&rsquo;t need to go there specifically to eat.

🏠 Man Ting Yuan
Dai cuisine with a good environment. If you want to eat a full meal, you can go there. It is near Yulong Lake Park, and you can just go shopping after eating.

🍜 Ni Ga Yi Pie Po Wa Flavor
In addition to chicken and rice, if you want to eat Wa cuisine, you can go to his house. These are classic dishes that you can try, such as rice, barbecued meat, papaya chicken, etc. There will also be small performances

📍Chinese Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden (80 yuan admission): We recommend taking the electric car. The Victoria Regency Pond and the Exotic Flower Garden are must-sees.
📍Dai Garden (45 yuan admission): The daily Water Splashing Festival at 1:30 PM is a blast! Remember to bring extra clothes and a waterproof phone bag.

𝘿𝙖𝙮4️⃣ Manting Park + Zongfo Temple
📍Manting Park: Watch a performance at the Elephant School (10:30 AM/2:50 PM). Wear Dai clothing for photos with the royal elephants (not included in the photo).
📍 Zongfo Temple: A magnificent Theravada Buddhist temple. Avoid overalls.

Recommended: Century Road Dai Family Restaurant. Their spicy and sour fish and pineapple rice are incredible! Afterward, explore the Dai Village and buy handmade brocade souvenirs.
