We ordered three dishes, all mildly spicy, which was acceptable as it wasn't too spicy. A bowl of Yunnan-style fragrant rice was delicious, a bit sour and spicy, with bamboo shoots, beef, and eggs. The mini hand-grabbed rice was a generous portion, enough for two or three people. The braised beef tenderloin had fresh mushrooms and tender beef. The Pao Lu Da was a bit sweet, and a little cloying after a while, but it suited my Zhejiang palate; the portion was also very large, and the two of us couldn't finish it. This restaurant is near the hotel where we stayed. It is quite popular. We had our last meal in Lijiang here! After visiting Mufu in the morning, we ate a bait block and then came to the restaurant for dinner. We only ordered two dishes. The black-bone chicken is sour and spicy, and the side dishes are bamboo shoots and onions. The onion tastes a bit like sour radish. I couldn’t taste it at first, haha.
