黎明之前I came here because of its reputation. It was very good and unique. The waiter was very nice. We ordered a scallion-fried black fungus, a fried pork pancake and a dessert. It was very delicious. I hope to have the opportunity to come back and taste it.

Very good restaurant, highly recommended! I am from California, USA, a pure tourist, not a hired help. A very large Yellow River carp. If you can eat sweet, you can try the sweet and sour dish. The fried river shrimp is delicious, the guada cake is delicious, and the crispy pork is very unique. The restaurant is full of antiques and delicious food. At the same time, you can feel the long history of the ancient city. The service is even more considerate and thoughtful. I think this is the most worthwhile restaurant to visit during this trip to Liaocheng.
It was already noon when we came out of the Grand Canal Cultural Museum. We drove 10 minutes to the Grand Canal Hall for lunch. The environment is good. There are about seven or eight tables in the lobby on the first floor. The three of us also occupied a large round table. Because I often eat Shandong cuisine in Jinan, I didn’t order sweet and sour carp and stir-fried kidney. Instead, I ordered braised carp and canal stir-fried kidney. I ordered fried meat and shy pumpkin for the children (recommended by netizens). Braised carp: The amount is not small, and the ingredients are a little bamboo shoots and mushrooms, but because of the freshwater fish, it has a little muddy smell. (I feel that the best way to cook carp is still sweet and sour or hot and sour) Canal stir-fried kidney: The amount is very large, and the pepper is also heavy. The tongue is a little numb at the end. Fried meat: It is a bit similar to the fried spiced meat in Jinan, just as salty and dry. But with small cakes and cucumber strips, it is obviously much better to roll it up. It is recommended to refer to Jinan Shandong cuisine restaurant. Shy Pumpkin: Pumpkin + raisins + cranberries (or maybe hawthorn, sorry I didn't taste it), covered with cheese. It tastes salty, sweet and sour, and tastes good, but the cheese is a bit greasy at the end.
Speaking of Liaocheng's food, it's really memorable. We went to many places in Liaocheng during this trip. Friends took us to taste many special foods. Let's take stock of them for everyone⬇️None of them was disappointing. 🍲Canal Hall We've eaten here twice‼ ️Local friends said they like to entertain friends from other places here. The one we went to is next to Dongchang Lake Scenic Area. We recommend Yellow River carp (I heard from friends that it is a special food in Liaocheng), Guada, pumpkin dessert, etc. The overall amount of food is large and the taste is good👍 🍲Liaocheng breakfast Friends took us to a breakfast street. We must get up early, otherwise some shops will close after they sell out. The characteristic breakfast in Liaocheng includes Guada, hanging oven biscuits, Ba Pi Guo Zi, mutton soup, mutton buns, etc. The portions are very large and very local~ 🍲Dong'e Wangji Donkey Meat How can you not eat donkey meat when you come to Dong'e? This is a restaurant recommended by a friend. You can eat various donkey meat platters and dishes made from donkey meat. For fried chicken, I recommend their donkey meat buns‼ ️It's very big. I ate two in one go and was full. 🍲Black Donkey Prince·Donkey Meat Hotpot I have also eaten here twice🌟The donkey meat is fried with tender chicken, delicious😋I love the clear soup base, one small pot per person, after eating the donkey meat, I also simmer some vegetables and donkey ear wontons, delicious~ 🍲Wang He stewed fish·Yanggu steamed dishes The steamed dishes steamed in the open kitchen in the store have a lighter taste. The special stewed fish and sausage are the best🍖The sausage is especially greasy with a little vinegar. The stewed fish is very cost-effective. A big fish🐟 is only more than 30 yuan🔥Other steamed dishes are also about 20 yuan. The handmade big steamed buns in the store are very good. I saw many locals buy them for takeaway! 🍲Yilinju Restaurant·Linqing Eight Bowls I have eaten Linqing Eight Bowls once. Although it is not the same restaurant, I still miss it. The eight bowls in Linqing are all authentic. I love the meatballs and stewed lamb the most. Mutton dumplings are also a must-try❗️ I also packed a box for my family For these delicacies, I want to go to Liaocheng again~ #Local food #Local snacks
