I have been eating Sanzi since I was a child, but this is the first time I have seen the production process. I can really watch the winding process for a long time. My friend likes to eat Sanzi very much. As soon as he came to the ancient city, he bought a bag and ate it while walking. Here I also learned another way to eat it, which is to put the broken Sanzi in oil tea. The crispy taste of Sanzi and the fragrant and smooth texture of oil tea are well integrated.

This is one of the breakfast delicacies I strongly recommend in Langzhong. The reason why it is a breakfast delicacy is that everyone must pay attention to it. It is only sold in the morning. After noon, the aunt will only fry Sanzi and not sell Youcha Sanzi. With Youcha and Sanzi together, plus special peppers, it is really delicious. The boss has a good personality and will actively communicate with you. There is no need to worry about language barriers, and the price is not expensive. A small bowl costs 4, 5, or 6 yuan. If you want to eat something else in the morning, order a 4-yuan portion, which is enough to satisfy you. Their location is not far from the popular Zhao Baozi store. After passing Zhao Baozi store, continue walking north and you can find it on the right.

A back door leads directly to the heart of the city. - Hanfu clothing is perfect for photo opportunities (be sure to choose red for a more photogenic feel). - Breakfast until 1 PM! Enjoy a bowl of mixed noodles or beef pot cakes. - The room has a balcony with a river view, and the lights are on at night, it's breathtaking! [Must-Try Activities] ✅ Climb the Zhongtian Tower for a panoramic view of the ancient city. ✅ Wait for a sunset at the Huaguang Tower (amazing camera!) ✅ Watch a Three Kingdoms performance at the Zhang Fei Temple. ✅ Attend the Dragon Boat Races during the Dragon Boat Festival (just in time for this in June). [Helpful Tips] 1. Wear comfortable shoes for the cobblestone streets of the ancient city. 2. Buy the all-inclusive ticket (covering several major attractions). Free admission for those over 65 with ID. 3. Evenings are less crowded, and the light is better, making for the best photos. 4. The teahouses along the river are worth a visit; 5 yuan will keep you drinking for the entire afternoon. Must-Try Recommendations: Square-Crusted Pot Cakes (Gucheng Main Branch) Freshly baked guokui (a Chinese flatbread) with my favorite cold dish (meat) is incredibly crispy and juicy. It's so fragrant (perfect for a snack while shopping). Chen's Pig Trotters (Langshui East Road Branch): A must-try! There's so much delicious food! [Love] Chen's pancakes, their signature Chen's Pig Trotters, taro pig trotters, husband and wife lung slices, fish-flavored shredded pork, Chen's jelly... They also offer free fruit and fermented glutinous rice dumplings. They even gave us rice dumplings for Dragon Boat Festival. [StarEyes] Youcha Sanzi (Youcha) at No. 100, Laobei Street: Unlike the ones in Xi'an, youcha is a semi-finished dish that requires mixing with a lot of ingredients and then sprinkling with crushed sanzi before eating. Despite its stickiness, it's still worth a try. One bowl was enough to fill two people up. [Grin] Liu Laowu Fresh Beef Bun Shop The buns were so delicious, and a lot of people were buying them, mostly locals. They usually ordered at least 20, and we even took a bag home after finishing them. [Yeah] There's a lot of food in Langzhong Ancient Town. The Langyuan Three Wonders (Zhang Fei beef, Baoning vinegar, and hot jelly) are pretty much the same at every restaurant, nothing special. There's also the sugar-steamed buns, but I personally found them pretty average, so I wouldn't recommend them. If you really want to try them, just buy one and try it.
