_We***43We didn't go to the hotel buffet on Saturday night, so our family of three decided to go for Chinese food. You need to make a reservation here, and we were lucky that one of the people who made the reservation didn't come because of something.
There were baby cutlery, but the plate I got was a little dirty... I ordered 4 dishes, but the dishes were really slow... About 25 minutes per dish on average... The beef fried rice was also served wrong, but I didn't take any photos, so I ate quickly and left because the air conditioning was too strong... But the overall taste of the dishes was good~ The price was a little expensive, but the service was pretty good~

The hotel is located on the shore of Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou. It covers a large area and is said to have nearly 200 rooms. The hotel has complete facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym, bicycle rentals, and a children's playground. There were many children when we checked in that day, and it felt like a parent-child hotel. The elevator was very good because it was card-operated. There are few parking spaces in the hotel, and the breakfast is average, but the surrounding environment is still very good.
After the food was served, small flying insects kept landing on my plate and in my husband's teacup. When we called the waiter, they just crushed the insects on the table, saying it was the season for these insects. Later, a manager came and said they did pest control daily, but there were still insects. Seriously? What kind of lame explanation is that? Are we supposed to eat insect-infested food in a five-star hotel? Looking up, we could see more than a dozen flying insects perched on the ceiling. After the meal, we waited half an hour, and they gave us some mooncakes as a final solution. Oh, and they even waived the cost of a pot of tea. [smile]
The environment is very good, the location is good, the service is good, and the food tastes good.
✅When visiting Kunshan, don't miss the Yi Feng Ge Chinese Restaurant at the Fairmont Yangcheng Lake Hotel! This hidden gem of a restaurant nestled within a five-star hotel brings the breathtaking scenery of Yangcheng Lake directly to your table 🌊🦀 We went on a rainy day, and the misty lake view paired with warm yellow lighting created an ambiance that was simply divine. ✅First, let me rave about the amazing location! Situated within the Yangcheng Lake Ecological Park, a floor-to-ceiling window frames the lake view like a dynamic oil painting. We sat by the window, enjoying hairy crabs while watching the raindrops ripple on the lake's surface. The modern architecture and natural landscape blended perfectly in the distance, making every snapshot a cinematic masterpiece 📸 The rainy day actually enhanced the misty, rainy atmosphere of Jiangnan! ✅The food is the real highlight! The steamed hairy crabs 🦀️ are a must-order (it's currently the peak season for crabs), the crab roe is so plump and oily! There's also a super fresh lake seafood platter, with shrimp and crabs all carrying the sweetness of Yangcheng Lake. The dishes were exquisitely presented, like a scene from a Jiangnan water town brought to life on the table. My WeChat Moments feed was flooded with requests for the address! 🤩 ✅The facilities are also top-notch! After your meal, you can take photos at the hotel's infinity pool. Soaking in the warm water with the lake view on a rainy day is incredibly relaxing. The spiral staircase and art installations in the hotel lobby are also perfect for photos; wearing a cheongsam will instantly create a Republic-era feel! 🎋 My parents were blown away by my choice of location! ✅Tips: It's recommended to go in the evening to enjoy both the sunset and the night view; book a window seat in advance; it's currently crab season, so it's incredibly cost-effective at around 300+ RMB per person; the hotel has convenient underground parking. After your meal, remember to take a stroll along the Yangcheng Lake cycling path – the lake breeze is so soothing! 🌾 #TheseHotelViewsAmazing #KunshanFoodExploration #YangchengLakeCrabs #HighValueRestaurant #JiangsuZhejiangShanghaiTravel
