食神牛I chose this restaurant for my last dinner before leaving Quanzhou. The restaurant is located in an old house with a very retro decoration. There are fishing boats and small bridges in the middle of the hall, and many ancient windows and screens are used for decoration in the private rooms.
Because we were tired from shopping in Wudian City, we arrived early. The owner warmly welcomed us and arranged tea in the private room.
Codfish, lychee and shrimp balls are 59 yuan, with 12 pieces in a plate, which are quite pictographic. The codfish meat is very firm and the shrimp is tender, fresh and juicy.
Thousand-flavor taro paste duck is 42 yuan, which is very exquisitely made. The crispy skin is wrapped with delicate and sweet taro paste, and the taro paste is filled with crispy duck meat.
Stir-fried seasonal vegetables are 32 yuan, and the lettuce is particularly crispy and tender with oyster sauce.
Oyster sauce homemade tofu is 68 yuan, the tofu is slightly fried, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the oyster sauce is rich and fragrant, and it is decorated with corn kernels, shrimps, peas, etc.
Buddha Jumps Over the Wall is 68 yuan, although it is very small, it has rich ingredients, including small abalone, small sea cucumber, fish maw, shark fin, scallops, etc. The soup is golden, fresh, thick and smooth, and it is first-class with rice.
Steamed Pearl Dragonfish is 158 yuan. The fish is steamed just right, the fish meat is very smooth and tender, and the sauce brings out the sweetness.
Large portion of rice is 20 yuan, the rice grains are bright and soft, and the grains are distinct.
A large Coke is 12 yuan, and a tea seat is 3 yuan per person.
A restaurant with Fujian characteristics, exquisite dishes and authentic taste, comfortable environment and thoughtful service, and relatively affordable prices.

This restaurant called Weiyahui in Wudian City, Jinjiang, serves southern Fujian specialties. Local friends brought us here to taste the southern Fujian specialties. The restaurant's decoration also reflects the local customs. The dishes are mainly seafood, which are very fresh and delicious. Southern Fujian's fried oysters and earthworm jelly are my favorite specialties.
This restaurant is near the Wudian City pond. It is well decorated, has a nice environment, timely service, and decent dishes. It specializes in Minnan cuisine. We ordered shark and shrimp soup, ginger duck, roujiamo, stone pot beef, etc. The small box cost less than 500 yuan for 7 people. It is a good place for friends to get together.
Besides traditional houses, Wudian City also offers Minnan cuisine. This particular restaurant's name alludes to the Minnan tradition of "Weiya" (year-end banquet), a traditional Taiwanese banquet with auspicious connotations of family reunion. The red-brick Western-style building is decorated with antique items, and even the seats are shaped like small boats, making it perfect for taking photos. 🥢Weiya Hui 📍No. 26, Huye Lane ⏰11:00-14:00, 17:00-21:30 🛎️The ambiance is truly captivating. The red-brick traditional house blends Chinese and Western styles, exuding the authentic Minnan charm. After your meal, you can stroll around Wudian City. ✅ Hot Pot Oysters with Sauce: Plump oysters coated in a thin layer of flour and blanched, then dipped in a special sauce, are incredibly fresh and refreshing. ✅ Stir-fried Asparagus and Shrimp with Black Truffle: The shrimp are firm, perfectly complemented by the black truffle, while the asparagus and yam are subtly flavorful and refreshing. ✅ Stir-fried Beef with Two Kinds of Peppers: Spicy dishes aren't common in Fujian, so this beef dish was especially delicious and went perfectly with rice. ☑️ Minnan Ginger Duck: Ginger duck is a Fujian specialty, and I eat it almost every day. The ginger flavor is very rich, and the meat is tender and juicy. #MinnanCuisine #LocalFood #MyMidnightDiner
🔥Nan'an•Laoma Pickled Cabbage Noodles🍜|"Hometown Flavor" Eaten Since Childhood A bowl of pickled cabbage noodles brings back the memories of countless Nan'an people! 📍Nan'an City's Laoma Pickled Cabbage Noodle House is a simple street shop, but it hides a century of intangible cultural heritage👩🍳Two meat dishes and one vegetable dish are only 15 yuan, the soup is so fresh, and the acidity is just right to whet the appetite (but locals secretly say: "Add instant noodles to absorb more juice!"🍜) Served with Hongse chicken feet🐔, soft and glutinous to the bone, and salted duck🦆, it is salty and fragrant. A simple bowl is the white moonlight on the tip of the tongue~ (whisper: sour party can ask for more pickled cabbage!🤫) 🔥Jinjiang•Zhanglin Yuanhua Hotel|The "Hidden King" of the ancient flavor of southern Fujian🌿 This time-honored restaurant is hidden in an alley, but it is full every day! Ginger duck🦆 must be the center of the show! The duck meat is full of the fragrance of ginger, and the meat is so tender that it can be removed from the bones with chopsticks. The oily aroma of the ginger slices makes people drool😋 And [Fried Taro Balls] is a must-try for the glutinous people! The sticky taro paste is wrapped in salty and fragrant sauce, and it is so chewy that you can play table tennis~ 🌟The three-in-one Minnan dish (carrot cake + five-spice roll + crispy meat) must be ordered! The carrot cake is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it is a sweet inner attack when you bite it💥 The radish in the beef soup is stewed until it is translucent, and the beef offal is fresh! ⚠️But be careful with seafood! It’s enough for us to just order the signature dishes~ 🔥Jinjiang Wudian City•Weiyahui|Creative Minnan cuisine in the ancient courtyard 🏮 This [Weiyahui] in Wudian City is super interesting! The quaint courtyard is perfect for checking in📸 The signature [Meat-filled buns] are so delicious! The hot meat filling🥩is a mixture of fat and lean, melting in your mouth, and the sweet and salty sauce soaks the soft buns, making you love it💘 The shacha pot is full of ingredients, including shrimp🦐squid🦑fat intestines, and it becomes more and more delicious after slow cooking over low heat~ (the waiter said the name of the store means "end-of-year party" in Minnan dialect, and eating here also makes you learn more!😂) 🔥Shishi•Yijincheng Private Restaurant|The "bottom of the box" recommended by my bestie 🌟 This restaurant is only known to locals in Shishi, and you can order it with your eyes closed! [Garlic crayfish🦐] must be locked🔒! The shrimp meat is firm, and the garlic sauce is a little sweet and super rich. Finally, add instant noodles to absorb the soup, and you can't stop eating! 💦 [Fried snails with peanut butter] is amazing! Shishi limited flavor, salty and fragrant peanut butter wrapped with fresh snail meat, you will be addicted to it after one bite, the atmosphere of the food stall is full~🌟A must for those who love crispy taro paste!
