ZOU'S SCOURTYARD

I searched for this restaurant before I came to Jiaxing. After the yoga trip in Jiaxing, I visited this restaurant. This restaurant is near Yuehe Street and has a nice facade. There is no menu here, so you can order food by looking at the real food at the front desk. After a week of vegetarianism, I seemed particularly happy to see meat 😃Zou Daxian, it should be a chain store, the atmosphere here is good [strong] The dishes are typical Jiaxing style, and they are quite standard.

Zou Daxian (Zhongji Branch) is located not far from Yuehe Road in the historical district of Jiaxing. Its storefront is not big, and inside is a large courtyard that leads all the way to the Houhe River. The restaurant layout of its Jiangnan courtyard is unique, and the dishes are quite rich and taste good.

月河的邹大鲜，看着门面不大，里面豁然开朗别有洞天，所以即使排队，不妨在中庭的花园里休息一下。熟卤大虾，肉质紧实，虾肉卤的很入味，香气扑鼻。笋干狮子头，笋干鲜嫩，狮子头肥瘦搭配得当。南湖菱炒的糯粉爽口。文虎酱鸭的味道也是地道的。

After checking out, we drove to Yuehe Ancient Street (about 30 kilometers from Xitang); in fact, the reason we came to Xitang was because we couldn't book a room at "Yuehe Inn", so we came to Xitang to stay for one night! We found that the "Zou Daxian" in Yuehe Scenic Area had the highest taste score, so we came here for lunch. The business was very hot and we had to wait for a table. We took advantage of the short waiting time to see the scenic area. The place was indeed not big and there were fewer people. The restaurant is actually quite large. There is a courtyard with a garden view. The houses around the pond are all their restaurants. The environment is still very good! The way to order is relatively direct. You can directly look at the dishes and order in the ordering area. Then we ordered a lot without realizing it. The four of us were really full in the end and had to pack up and take it back! The food here is pretty good. We felt like we had finally eaten at a regular restaurant and had real dishes (to be honest, we were really scared of the restaurants in Xitang). The cold dishes tasted quite refreshing, the stews were rich and tasty, and there were also seafood dishes. We ordered 3 sunfish, which was a fish we had never eaten before. The fish meat was very tender and delicious after being cooked in a home-cooked way! The other dishes were also pretty good! Although we ordered a little too much, we were very satisfied with the food, and this trip was a perfect ending!

Besides his restaurant, Lu Gaojian is also a famous place to eat on Yuehe Street. My wife chose Zou Daxian from the two restaurants. The restaurant doesn't look big from the outside. When you get close to the front, you will see the plaque of "Zhejiang Famous Restaurant" with "5A" marked below. Who wants to find out that there is a different world inside after entering the door? In addition to the place to order dishes, there are several courtyards. The business is very good, and there are many diners. Some are already waiting for a table. We ordered snails, sweet potatoes, salted pork and preserved vegetables, duck in sauce, egg dumplings, cuttlefish eggs, yellow croaker, pig face, etc., plus a rice dumpling with fermented rice wine. I won't post the pictures one by one because of the number of pictures. In general, the dishes are a bit salty, but the other services are pretty good.

The restaurant is located on Yuehe Street. The decoration is antique and the courtyard is elegant. We arrived at the restaurant at around 11 o'clock in the morning. The sun was shining, so we chose a seat in the courtyard. It was really a pleasure to taste the delicious food under the blue sky and white clouds. The meat filling in the glutinous rice shrimp balls is added with shrimp, which makes the freshness more prominent, and the glutinous rice wrapped in it is so sticky that it melts in the mouth. Because it is steamed on bamboo leaves, it has a faint bamboo leaf fragrance, and it is fragrant and soft. The shrimp paste taro taste is not strong, and the taro is fragrant and smooth, but the impression is not deep. The fish fillet of the scallion oil fish fillet is very good, with almost no bones, but it feels that the fish fillet is not fresh and smooth enough when it is cold. What adds color to this dish is the shredded lettuce inside, which is extremely fragrant, but it is far away from the original lettuce taste of the city. The lion's head bamboo shoots and eggs are very rich and pleasing in color, and the bamboo shoots are very tender and delicious, but the lion's head is a bit big, plus the big braised egg, it is quite stressful for girls.

Zou Daxian is very famous. We came at 11 o'clock because we were afraid that there would be no seats. We just took a window view seat. The temperature in early autumn and the rain made it cool and comfortable to open the window. There are a lot of food, the taste is good, and it is cheap. There are private rooms, not only for small gatherings with friends, but also for large gatherings. The pool in the middle is very tasteful and beautiful.

Located in Yuehe Ancient Street, the decoration is antique, the place is big, and there are private rooms, which is very romantic. The egg yolk pumpkin and the stewed vegetables are both salty. The white-cut chicken and chicken feather vegetables are not salty. The farmer's steamed cake is brown sugar flavored and very soft.
