On the way to Qiandao Lake, we drove to Shouchang Town for lunch. According to our experience, the restaurants that locals in this town in Jiangsu and Zhejiang love to go to are delicious and cost-effective. This time, it really lived up to expectations. The dishes in this unremarkable local restaurant are really delicious. Especially the white-cut chicken, fresh local chicken, with a natural fragrance. It is not a tender chicken that has been raised for only a few months, with tender meat but bland taste. Instead, the meat is delicate and solid, fresh and sweet in the mouth, and the fragrance can be smelled. I still salivate when I think about it today... There is also stone pot tofu pot, homemade tofu from farmers, with a strong bean fragrance that supermarket tofu does not have, and it is stewed with chicken soup and many seafood ingredients, which is so fresh! [Naughty] Close to Qiandao Lake and Xin'an River, fish are abundant here. The restaurant owner recommended deep-fried wild small fish, which is a local ingredient and cooking method. It really does not have the earthy smell of freshwater fish. It is crispy and delicious. You don't have to worry about fish bones stuck in your throat. It is suitable for travelers! I personally like eating at food stalls. I feel very down-to-earth, comfortable and relaxed. This food stall was brought to us by a friend. It was quite good, and the later it got, the more people there were. Every dish tasted good. With beer, drinking and chatting with friends, it was a great feeling, and it felt very lively. Unconsciously, we became closer.

The taste is OK. I ordered five dishes (fish head, white-cut chicken, dry pot cauliflower, chicken wings and fries, mixed cucumber, plus cola, coconut milk, and mango juice) for a total of 200 yuan. The food was served too slowly. It took 30-45 minutes to serve everything. The taste is OK. Parking is available on both sides of the road at the door.
