I've been there before. The first time was when my department teacher took me there. It was an academic exchange for experts. We ate there for free. It was the kind of buffet with a big table in a private room. The best dish was definitely the stinky mandarin fish, as well as the fern cake, bullfrog pot, and old duck soup. My god, it tasted really great and authentic. The second time was when my boyfriend came to see me, and I took him there to eat authentic Huangshan Anhui cuisine. We ordered another stinky mandarin fish, but it was in small portions. This fish can be purchased in large and small portions, and this one is better. The bacon and crispy bamboo shoots and the pickled claws appetizer were also delicious. The place was packed both times I went there. I really recommend going there

The braised stinky mandarin fish here is really a specialty. It seems that every store has it, so I have to try it. Fortunately, I didn’t get used to it, but my friend didn’t seem to like the taste. I finished it alone and it was very good~

There is a specialty store in the old street. I asked for their business card and came to their restaurant. It is very authentic Anhui cuisine. The tea dried meat is delicious, the hairy tofu is also good, spicy and flavorful. The braised stinky mandarin fish is the highlight. Various stinky and fresh flavors are mixed together, which is unique.

The dishes here sound authentic and look very appetizing, but maybe I was just hungry, but they tasted really good and I even ate an extra bowl of rice.

The eel and frog were excellent, and the seasoning was perfect! The shop boasts a municipal intangible cultural heritage designation. After visiting several branches, it feels very authentic and well worth a try when visiting Huangshan. Besides the Jiuniang desserts, I highly recommend the Jiuniang (wine and rice wine)—buy a few bottles to take away; they're even better served chilled! The rice wine aroma was very strong. 🍽️ Auntie Long Braid Wontons (Sanhuayuan Phase II Branch) 💰️18 yuan/person 💗This wonton shop is located in a small alley in the neighborhood. The wontons are not made with clear broth. The floating wontons are made with pepper and lard. They also offer a variety of braised dishes, and the braised ones are very flavorful. Although the restaurant's ambiance is not very nice, the taste is excellent. I've seen several restaurants, but I tried them myself and I know you can't go wrong. 🍽️Meishan Restaurant 💰️75 yuan/person 💗This is a serious eatery with a well-equipped kitchen and refrigerated food. Those looking for a nice atmosphere might be advised against it, but the food is really good! Since I was alone, I ordered their signature dish, the Braised Small Yellow Croaker with Red Pork. The braised pork sauce was rich, the fat was tender, and there was a slight sweetness. But it wasn't cloying. The small yellow croaker was spicy, and the garlicky meat was fragrant.
