Faced with the Hunanese restaurants on the street, I had a choice problem. I just randomly found one mainly to try the local specialty blood duck. It was quite delicious and tasted very authentic. It felt good.

This is a remnant of an ancient city from the Ming and Qing dynasties in western Hunan, a pristine, natural, tranquil, and comfortable place.

👣Walking along the alleys of bluestone streets, the stone slabs clang hollowly. ☔️On a rainy day, children, backpacks on their backs, umbrellas in hand, twirl around in puddles, playing and forgetting the time to go home.
🎬The alleys are filled with the vibrant atmosphere of life. Family chatter drifts from the houses, and curls of smoke rise from the brick and tile roofs. At dinnertime, the crisp clatter of iron woks and spatulas clattering against each other can be heard from the kitchen, and the aroma permeates the air. Yes, that&#39;s what it smells like&mdash;fried duck🦆. Yes, this dish requires Hongjiang&#39;s homemade sauce. 👀Walking forward, a child squats at the doorway of a house, eating from a large bowl clutched to his chest, gnawing on a duck leg with relish. I imagine it must be delicious. The wooden house leans slightly, and you can still smell the occasional scent of pine oil. The mottled white walls and black tiles tell of its millennia-long history.

The car in Figure 2⃣️ belongs to an elderly man who often takes his beloved dog 🐶 shopping, with old revolutionary songs blaring from the stereo. He must have many stories to tell.

The barber chair in Figure 7⃣️ is still in good working order, and not only the elderly but also many young people enjoy getting their hair and beards cut here.

The people here are kind and simple. After watching a play at the opera house, an aunt cutting watermelon 🍉 by the roadside warmly invited us in for some. Everyone here seems to have some talent, whether it&#39;s calligraphy, painting, or opera performances. Perhaps this is the time-honored charm of this city: subtle yet unassuming, calm yet restrained, surrounded by mountains and rivers, a quaint and natural environment. 👣Wandering through the streets, I occasionally see familiar faces, though they&#39;re elderly now. I&#39;ve grown up, walking the bluestone streets with my little one. That child stepping in puddles and gnawing on duck legs was me over thirty years ago. My childhood memories are as vivid as yesterday. I still remember summer market days, often going with my grandfather to buy a load of watermelons and walking home from Zhongshan Street. I remember when I had a cold and a fever, my father carrying me to the doctor at Xia Nanmen. I remember summer evenings selling popsicles with my mother. Even after nearly twenty years away from home, I still miss it deeply, because it&#39;s my hometown, the place that nurtured me and nurtured me.
