The most worthwhile money spent in Hohhot!!!

It is worthy of being a restaurant strongly recommended by locals in Hohhot! They have five floors, and it is said that the area is 10,000 square meters... There are many private rooms upstairs, and each decoration is unique and high-end! Bameng stew, hand-pulled pork, mutton and wheat, spicy baked rice cakes, brown sugar baked rice cakes, cheese cakes, milk tofu cakes, milk yogurt, milk-chewed fried rice, fried fruit leather, Inner Mongolian spicy hot pot, meat-filled fried cakes, and thin fruit soup... I highly recommend the Bameng stew: the mashed potatoes wrapped around the pork ribs and beans are perfect on their own or with rice. The abundance of crispy scallions is a real treat! Bayin Haoriwa, recommended by locals, isn&#39;t close to many attractions, but the food, environment, and service are all top-notch, especially the hand-pulled pork and yogurt pancakes. There&#39;s also a singing and dancing performance in the evening, making it worth a special trip. The most famous restaurant, Gerile Amma, is mediocre and not recommended.

Both Shaomai restaurants are good, but I recommend Suihe Shaomai. The lamb flavor is less overpowering, and the fried Shaomai are more fragrant and appealing to me than the steamed ones.
Suyuan Malatang is the best, with a medium spiciness that&#39;s just right. The other two are spicier, so just order mild. -

The baked buns are a must-try. I especially love the sesame oil flavor; it&#39;s so easy to walk! I especially recommend the brown sugar triangles; the crust is crispy, the filling is dense, and it&#39;s incredibly delicious!
For the milk tofu pancakes at Kuanxiang, don&#39;t go to the Xingyue line; Qingheyuan is just as delicious, and they&#39;re easily stretched to 2 meters.

You can&#39;t go wrong with the fruit soup and milk yogurt. I especially recommend Ma Dajie for the fruit soup. Not only is it richer in dried fruit and has a better texture, but it&#39;s also packed with dried persimmons, leaving you with a delicious persimmon flavor. Highly recommended!

First time in Inner Mongolia, I sent my kids to school and came across this shaomai restaurant next to the hotel. It was super delicious and worth recommending. I will definitely come again next time. [Taste] Super good [Environment] Clean and tidy [Service] Warm and thoughtful
