饭墩墩(大湾区)The car exited the highway and turned a corner. The mountains silenced the city noise, leaving only birds tuning their microphones. The navigation system said "Destination Chunmuyuan Town" had arrived, but I deliberately didn't believe it, because what I saw was clearly the box that Tadao Ando had secretly left outside Japan—exposed concrete, geometric cuts, and a pool of water that could dissuade clouds from falling.
I got out of the car, and the hotel waiter was very enthusiastic: "Welcome to Chunmuyuan Town." I put down my luggage and went to find food first. The owner's first dining hall is open to the public and has a wide variety of dishes, including flying pancakes made by San Ge, Cantonese dim sum, stir-fries, congee, noodles, and more. For a more luxurious meal, there are many restaurants nearby with different styles.
After feeling slightly tipsy and full, I strolled towards the "Poetry Hall." The hall is hidden in the water, like a ring held by a fish. That day, I met Zhu Tao, Zhang Yonghe, and newly crowned Pritzker Prize winner Liu Jiakun in a conversation on "Spatial Creation and Poetic Echoes." Well, that was a high-end game. For me, the quality of architecture is first determined by whether the shutter speed is fast. Another unique feature of the Poetry Hall is its pipe organ. This 600-square-meter diamond-shaped space, a space that retracts and then expands, feels like a drumstick. When the bass is pressed, my heartbeat borrows its rhythmic power; when the lights go out, a "flashlight from God" leaks through the skylight, illuminating the keyboard.
In the evening, after experiencing the soaring of a hot air balloon, and at night, listening to a lawn band (there was also a bonfire party and a water curtain show, but unfortunately, I couldn't attend both), and soaking in the hot springs, I suddenly remembered a saying: "Travel isn't about escaping; it's about sending a package of taste buds and soul." My package was signed for, stamped with the mountain breeze, the aroma of wood, and the low C of the pipe organ.
The next day, I woke up early to visit Mr. Pete's Circus. Then I took the kids to Dragon Bone Park and Little Dinosaur Water Park. The day flew by in the blink of an eye.
Before leaving, I handwrote on a notepad at the Blue Grape Hotel: "At Chunmuyuan, everyone can find happiness."
The car returned to the highway, and I rolled down the window to let in the breeze. "The Wind Continues to Blow" was playing on the speakers, and I hummed along. Suddenly, I understood: Chunmuyuan isn't a small town; it's a spring, straightening a heart flattened by the city. Someone once said that life requires "eating well, dressing warmly, and being open-minded." I'd add: Come back to Chunmuyuan and upgrade that open-mindedness to "having fun."
Next time someone asks me what's so great about Heyuan, I'll put my camera on the table—in the photo, the exposed concrete is smiling, and I'm toasting in the hot springs, my face steamed like a freshly baked barbecued pork bun.
Happiness? Come and experience it for yourself.

The "Run to the Sky" Light Art Festival in Chunmuyuan Town is a true paradise for art lovers! From day to night, from auditory to visual, every corner holds a hidden surprise. After visiting, I can only say: This trip was worth it! 1. The Soulful Resonance of Architecture and Music - Poetry Hall The Poetry Hall, designed by Tadao Ando, is a work of art in itself! During the day, the simple architectural lines exude a sense of sophistication. At night, light filters through the cracks and filters onto the walls, creating a geometric beauty that is truly breathtaking. This is where German organist Jürgen Kunssawa premiered his "Valley." Sitting in the hall and listening to the majestic organ sounds, the resonance between architecture and music is unparalleled. Classical music fans must visit this place to immerse themselves in "a musical bridge spanning centuries." 2. A Fairytale and a Collision of Ideas During the Day • Colorful Hot Air Balloons: The colorful hot air balloons on the lawn are absolutely stunning! The blue, yellow, and red checkered color scheme, set against the valley's blue sky, creates a fairytale-like image in every photo, captivating every young woman's heart. • Art Forum: I also happened to catch a conversation with Tahara and Nomura Kiwao about art. The two experts discussed art and creation, which was full of valuable insights. It turns out that the art festival is not only a visual and auditory experience, but also a platform for the exchange of artistic ideas. III. Nighttime Light and Shadow Carnival • Fireworks Show: The moment the fireworks exploded on the lake, the audience screamed! The flames bloomed brilliantly in the night sky, reflected on the lake. Every frame was like a movie scene, romantic and stunning, and it was definitely a like-making machine for WeChat Moments. • Water Curtain Show: This is absolutely the most amazing water curtain show I have ever seen! Purple water jets transformed to the music, dotted with glowing star installations. The combination of water and light is truly amazing. Seeing it live will leave you speechless. I recommend squeezing into the front row for the immersive experience. • World Premiere of "Wander" (by a French artist): Light and shadow flow with the music, creating a dreamlike theater experience where every step feels like stepping into the rhythm of art. The experience is immersive and a visual and auditory feast. • China Premiere of "Floating Thoughts" (by the Water Utopia Theater): The interweaving of water curtains and lights is breathtaking! Actors weave through the water's shadows, creating a compelling narrative. This is an artistic feast that will make you forget the passage of time. Tips • Tickets: Staying in a town hotel or B&B includes tickets, plus free access to the hot springs and swimming pool – a fantastic value. • Outfit: Wear drapey clothing to complement the light and shadows of the Poetry Auditorium and the hot air balloons on the lawn. • Time: Reserve one day and one night to fully experience the art carnival from day to night. This art festival perfectly blends architecture, music, light and shadow, artistic exchange, and the beauty of the valley. Whether you're an architecture enthusiast, a classical music lover, or someone seeking visually stunning scenery, there's something for everyone. Art lovers, just go for it! 📍 Address: 200 meters east of Shangu South Road, Yuancheng District, Heyuan City (Chunmuyuan Town) ⏰ Time: October 12th-18th #LightArtFestival #ChunmuyuanTown #PoetryAuditorium#ShareYourNewAutumnViewingPoems #RomanticTravelDestinationsInChina @CtripCommunityCreationCenter @CommunityWelfare
🌟I was healed by a light art festival in Heyuan Chunmuyuan Town this weekend! If you enjoy quiet architectural aesthetics and a vibrant artistic atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit. ▪️ Daytime: Poetic Architecture Tadao Ando's "Poetry Hall" is a must-see. The bare concrete structure is simple yet powerful. Sunlight filters through the geometric skylights, and the light and shadows slowly shift with time. Every snap creates a clean and elegant scene. 📸 Just sitting there and daydreaming is also very comfortable. ▪️ Nighttime: A Carnival of Light and Shadow After sunset, the town transforms into an open-air theater, with over 30 performances scattered around every corner. A short walk will bring you a surprise: ➊ Yuanni's "Stroll" Watching an elderly man slowly float in the air is magical, like walking in a dream. ➋ "Floating Thoughts" Water Dance Dancers dance in the middle of the lake, where reflections and lights intertwine to create an almost unreal beauty. ➌ "Mud and Fire" Chinese-style dance Dancers use their bodies to interpret the story of mud and fire, creating a beautiful blend of strength and softness. ➍ The grand finale water curtain show casts shadows on the fountain's water curtain, telling the story of this valley. This is a limited-edition show you won't find anywhere else! ✨ 🎆New surprises: The nightly finale fireworks show is incredibly romantic. Brilliant fireworks explode across the night sky, illuminating the entire valley. Every photo is stunning. 🔥Bonfire Party: Don't rush to leave after the show. Gather around the bonfire and have fun meeting new friends. A 2-hour drive from Guangzhou/Shenzhen. Come here for a weekend break. Find solace in the interplay of light and shadow. #ChunmuyuanTown #LightArtFestival #LightArt #ValleyStarlightNight #ArtInstallation #LightArtFestival #ArtScenery #WaterCurtainShow #LightFantasyJourney #VisualBlockbuster #PoetryAudiohall #TadaoAndo #ArchitecturalAesthetics #ValleyFireworksNight #LightParade #ChunmuyuanRomance
Hey ladies! My second visit to Spring Muyuan coincided with the inaugural "Light Art Festival." The inaugural "Light Art Festival" runs for a limited time from October 12th to 18th. A must-see for Tadao Ando fans! The Poetry Hall is finally open! 💒Tadao Ando Poetry Hall Reservations are required in advance!! The exposed concrete building is stunning in photos. The green apple installation 🍏 is a must-see spot. The hall looks like a work of art growing in the valley. A single photo looks like a high-end magazine shoot. 📸"A Magical Journey of Light" Water Curtain Show A massive water curtain over 300 meters long soars into the night sky. 💦 From cascading stars to life growing, standing in front of the water curtain is truly thrilling and gives you goosebumps. It's truly a Heyuan Valley exclusive. 🔥 "Floating Thoughts," performed by the French Water Utopia Theater, made its China premiere. The dancing flames on the water curtain were magical! "In the Name of Love" Music Parade Listening to the heavenly sounds of the valley is a refreshing experience 🎵 Every day offers a different program!! Bonfire parties, fireworks, and livehouse performances take turns. The park also features a dinosaur water park, hot springs, and a dragon bone park. During the day, enjoy the water at the dinosaur water park. In the evening, soak in the hot springs to cool down. For those with children, visit the dragon bone park. I recommend staying at a hotel in the scenic area for two days! This art festival is truly worth the price of admission. Ladies, hurry up! It's only available for 7 days!! #ChunmuyuanTown #LightArtFestival #AndoTadao #AndoTadaoArchitecture #HeyuanTravelGuide
The Spring Festival holiday just ended, so we packed our bags and went to Heyuan Chunmuyuan Town with our family to travel off-peak. It took 2 hours to depart from Guangzhou, and the journey was smooth. It was really nice to travel off-peak. There were not many people in Chunmuyuan Town, and we checked in smoothly and started our family trip. >🏡Accommodation The three-bedroom villa of Chunmuyuan B&B where we stayed is right inside Chunmuyuan Town. D11 Building 205, with a kitchen and a living room, is large and bright, and can accommodate 6 adults and 3 children. There is no problem at all. There is also a hot spring in the house, and the bathrobes and slippers in the room are also equipped for children, which is very cute. . >🍱Eat There are various gourmet restaurants in Chunmuyuan, including Papa Razzi Western Restaurant, which specializes in Western cuisine, Elephant Thai Restaurant with Southeast Asian flavors, and Hotomato with Sichuan and hemp flavors. Hot pot restaurant, and the First Canteen that gathers chefs from Sichuan, Hunan, Guangdong and other places Our family chose the First Canteen for dinner. It is a self-service mode. There are Cantonese pastries🥮, Northeast noodles🥟, and fruit desserts🍧. There are so many choices, and the taste is very authentic If you want to eat supper at night, there is also the Owl Bar that provides barbecue We didn’t go out of the park to eat . >♨️Hot Springs Chunmuyuan is a hot spring town. Guests staying in the hotel can go to the Palm Hotel for free to soak in hot springs There are many hot spring pools, and the water temperature is also moderate. The elderly soak in hot springs and sleep very well at night . >🎠Parent-child paradise Dragon Bone Paradise is the most popular place for children. You can get tickets to Dragon Bone Paradise with the life experience card🎫 There are various non-powered amusement facilities in the park. The most popular one is the wave pool inside. Various water play💦 facilities allow children to play here all day long . >Life Experience Hall The green apple🍏 on the large lawn in front of the experience hall should be the landmark building of Chunmuyuan. This This is Tadao Ando's understanding of youth. Every tourist who comes here has to come here to take photos and check in. In the afternoon, people will camp here🏕, and children will sketch and paint next to them. . >🚣🏻♀️Other activities There are various activities in the town regularly, such as making tea around the stove🍵, graffiti, handicrafts, and open-air movies🎞. When tourists check in, they can pick up the activity list at the front desk, choose the activities they want to participate in, and make an appointment with the housekeeper in advance. There are also kayaking🚣🏻♀️ and cycling in the town Lake cruise and other activities, if you need to experience it, you can also book with the housekeeper . Chunmuyuan has beautiful mountains and clear waters🏞, parents said it’s rare to come out to such a place to relax, and their mood has improved a lot Come here, the elderly enjoy the scenery, soak in hot springs, and the children put down their mobile phones and play wild. The family travels happily, which is the best company . 🏷Chunmuyuan Town Blue Grape Hotel Apartment 📌Heyuan City Yuancheng District Puqian Town, 100 meters west of Chunmuyuan Avenue, Chunmuyuan Town #This autumn and winter hot spring #Where to go on weekends #Good place for leisure #High-end hotel that you will understand after sleeping #Take parents to see the world
