I looked around Jiangmen and found a place where you could enjoy river seafood while overlooking the Xijiang River, so I drove over to try it. 🦐Xijiang River Shrimp: The shrimp seemed to have been kept alive for a while after being caught; they were quite clean, but not as sweet as freshly caught ones. The crispness was the same. The market price was 69 yuan per half jin (250g), higher than in Sanshui. 🐟Steamed Xijiang River Fish: The sweetness was good, but there were quite a few small bones. If your wallet isn't too full, this is a good choice. 🍘Signature Stone-Ground Tofu: A local specialty, savory and delicious. I'd order it again next time. On the other side of the Xijiang River in Sanshui, there's a restaurant called Yucanhai River Seafood, with a better and larger decor, but it was too crowded and the service took too long, so I didn't want to go there again.
