#Travel24FramesofHeartbeat 🌈 I took my kids to Beijing and set aside 48 hours to explore the vast desert. I debated for a long time whether to go to the Crescent Moon Bay, worried about the long lines and disrupting my schedule. In the end, I opted for the Night Singing Sands, further north. It was absolutely amazing! ‼ ️ Not only was there no height restriction, but the crowds were also minimal. The experience was fantastic, making this summer desert trip a slam dunk! 🎉 🚶 Itinerary: Take the 🚄 high-speed train from Beijing to Baotou at 9:30 AM. We rented a car 🚗 in advance and drove for an hour and a half, arriving at Jinshaling at 4:00 PM. The desert castle, inspired by the ancient castles along the Silk Road, is incredibly exotic and the photos 📷 are stunning, all at zero cost. Allow 1 hour for the trip. It's very close to Yemingsha, a 10-minute drive. We arrived at Yemingsha at 5:00 PM and stayed at the Xingxiu Hotel that night. The space capsule, newly opened 25 years ago, wasn't very large, but it was very clean. It came with an astronomical telescope, a sandboard, and sand shovels. Opening the door, we looked out onto the vast desert, a natural playground. The desert activities ended at 6:30 PM. We started with a camel ride. Afterward, as the sun set, the children ran freely across the dunes, sliding from one slope to the next, over and over again, as free as the sand itself. Dinner was served at the hotel restaurant at 8:00 PM. The stir-fried dishes were reasonably priced, around 50 yuan, and the portions were generous. We ordered the special camel meat, which tasted similar to beef. At 9:20 PM, Yemingsha Night was on. There were live performances of the intangible cultural heritage of iron flower making and iron kettles, a bonfire, and interactive games. The winner received a Gatling gun. After the event, there's a fireworks show. At 10:30 PM, we'll enjoy a stargazing hike. Staff will lead us on a 2-3 km walk to the viewing point to admire the dazzling sky. The instructor will use a laser light to point out the locations of the stars. We were lucky to see the spoon-shaped Big Dipper that night. During Day 2, we'll have lunch at 7:30 AM. The buffet breakfast exceeded our expectations, almost reaching four-star standards. It was unexpected to find such quality in the desert. The activities will begin at 8:00 AM. We'll board a desert shuttle to various stations deep in the desert, with virtually no walking required. While the zip line has a height requirement, the rest of the activities are available to children, even those under 1.3 meters tall. It's a great value. We'll depart for Beijing at 10:30 AM, concluding a fulfilling and special 1.5 days. #DesertTrip #PlayOutdoors #TravelWithCuteKids
