Jiaxing Kaiyuan Senbo | A Dream Family Trip for 2-Year-Old Doufu✨ Families, after having kids, weekends and holidays are always filled with thoughts of where to take them to relax. This time, I took my 2.5-year-old Doufu to the Jiaxing Kaiyuan Senbo Hotel and was truly amazed! It was effortless to walk him around the entire time, and he had a blast, and I, as a mom, had a truly vacation-like experience. So, I'm sharing this toddler-friendly guide with everyone! 👇 🏠 Accommodation: We chose a room in the main building, which was a real smart move! Downstairs is the restaurant and Ready Player One arcade, and next door is the water park and Fantasy Island. It's incredibly convenient for families with young children—no need to wait for the shuttle! The room came with a child's footrest, a toilet seat, and a thoughtfully prepared crib (just let the hotel know in advance). As soon as Doufu entered the room, he went on an adventure, clambering around with excitement. 🎠 Attractions: 🎈Fantasy Island: Little Tofu's favorite. As soon as he entered, he was like a bee, darting around the various areas. He played the soft slide and the ball pool over and over again. He even played the simulated kitchen area like a "little chef," so much so that he refused to come out for dinner. There are also many interactive activities for parents and children. We made crafts together, which not only strengthened our parent-child relationship but also helped Little Tofu improve his hands-on skills. 💧Water Park: The indoor temperature is constant, so there's no need to worry about little Tofu catching a cold. The children's water castle and lazy river are Little Tofu's exclusive playgrounds. He splashed around in the water with his little swim ring, beaming with joy. But remember to bring your baby's swimsuit, cap, and swim ring; they're also available at the water park, though they're a bit more expensive. 🍱 Dining: 🥣Breakfast buffet: There's a wide variety of options, with a dedicated children's section. Little Tofu chose his favorite bread and fruit and enjoyed it immensely. I recommend trying the local specialty, dry noodles; they're delicious! 🍽Yanlaixuan Chinese Restaurant: We had dinner here and ordered some light dishes, perfect for our baby's taste. The ingredients were fresh and the food was cooked to perfection. 📌 Tips: 1. Call the day before check-in to inquire about arranging a butler service. The butler will send you a schedule of activities for the day and may also give you a small gift and game coins.🎁 2. Fantasy Island provides non-slip socks for first-time visitors, but if your baby is prone to losing them, you can bring an extra pair. 3. While the hotel has a wide selection of restaurants, it's worth bringing some snacks with you if you're traveling with a young child to prevent them from getting hungry. 🌈This vacation with Doufu at Kaiyuan Forest Park in Jiaxing was truly wonderful. Verdict: It exceeded my expectations and is perfect for a family getaway. I read mixed reviews online before going, but I was surprised by how good it was! ⛱️ Attractions: Fantasy Island and Water Park offer unlimited access from the moment you register your face until 5 PM the next day, and you can continue playing after you check out! 🛝Fantasy Island Park (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM) ✔️ Over 2,000 square meters of spacious play space, featuring a ball game, slides, a sand pit with wood pellets, a trampoline, a kitchen supermarket, and a play area. There's also a path for the brave. ✔️ Anti-slip socks will be provided upon entry, but they won't be reissued for subsequent visits. 🏄Water Park (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM) ✔️ The water park is currently only open indoors, featuring a wave zone, surfing area, ball game, and slides. The water temperature is around 28°C, which isn't cold at all. Children had a blast, especially surfing. ✔️ The outdoor water park is only open during the summer vacation and offers a variety of exciting activities. ✔️ Free lockers and towels are provided for guests, and there are showers for families with different genders. 🚿 ✔️ Snacks are available on the second floor of the water park. 🚂 Mini Train ✔️ The mini train loops around Nanbei Lake without stopping. ✔️ There are only two departures daily: at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. February 3, 2025, the sixth day of the Lunar New Year, I woke up at 8:00 AM at the Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Hotel in Jiaxing and went to the hotel's "Senling Cave Restaurant" for breakfast. #ResortHolidayHoliday #KidsLoveParent-ChildRestaurant I had walked past it the night before and was already intrigued by its must-try list. #LocalDelicacy I arrived at the restaurant at 8:30 AM. There were quite a few people for breakfast, but the tables were quite full. It was often parents with their children, and the children were clearly more interested. #RelaxingPlace Staff showed us to our seats. After we were seated, we flipped open the "dining" menu to avoid other guests trying to grab a seat while we were getting our food. Such small touches are truly commendable. I tried the egg pancakes, steamed buns, and dry noodles. I felt like I was already full after eating half of the must-try list...
