I called ahead to make a reservation, and the owner said the chicken would take at least an hour to cook (they said it was free-range chicken, so they needed that long to cook it for flavor). When we arrived, there was ample parking, and the chicken was cooked right on schedule. The pot-side steamed buns were incredibly delicious; my child ate five and praised them profusely! The chicken was also incredibly flavorful. The set meal was generous, and we added an extra portion of pig intestines, which we loved. The four of us, adults and two children, couldn't finish even the 350 yuan set meal! Highly recommended! I haven't had chicken this good in all my years in Chengdu!

I write this review with great excitement. I left Sanxingdui at noon and found this "farmhouse" restaurant on a Google search. My taxi driver recommended it, saying it's a frequent spot for locals. The restaurant felt very cool the moment I entered, nestled in a garden setting, making it very comfortable. For lunch, I ordered fish head with yellow croaker. It was slightly spicy, fragrant, and full of flavor. As a Cantonese person, I didn't find it spicy at all. I also ordered steamed buns with a pot edge, but I didn't get to eat any of them because my middle school-aged son devoured them all. The waitress at the restaurant offered us some local fruit, but we didn't have time to eat it, so we asked her to bag it up for us. Knowing we had to catch the 1:50-minute high-speed train to Leshan, she offered to let us eat a little longer and drove us to the station. She insisted on not charging us for the ride. While we were eating, the owner, a sleek, beautiful woman in her 70s, returned. She explained that all the seasonings in the restaurant are made in-house, and that they've been running the business for over a decade and never use additives. I also felt very satisfied after eating. I didn't drink a sip of water from the beginning until now. The food was very fragrant but not salty. I'm grateful to the waitress for her excellent driving skills. She not only made sure we had a full meal but also got us to the high-speed train safely and on time. Thank you. The braised pork ribs taste great, the fish head is very good, and the best thing is that the ingredients are first-class
