My girlfriend and I, like "special forces soldiers," spent a day traveling from Chongqing to Sichuan and back, hitting the core attractions of Guanghan and Chengdu. ✔️We had a delicious food spree ✔️ It was a bit of a chore, but the sense of accomplishment was incredible 👏🏻 📍Route: ☀️5:50 Chongqing North → Guanghan North (earliest high-speed train 🚄) ☀️8:00 AM punctually grabbing Zhengyihan golden noodles and traditional snacks! A warm start to the day~ ☀️8:40 AM First wave to head to the Sanxingdui Museum ‼ ️Off-season, fewer crowds, so I could take photos and go on a shopping spree! 🛍️ ✨Must-buys: Bronze fridge magnets, Sanxingdui Jiujiu figurines (so adorable!) ✨Drank Dui Dui Dui coffee☕ and had bronze mask ice cream🍦 📸Photo spots: In front of the sacred tree, in the golden mask display case, and at the large standing man outside the museum! ☀️10:30 AM After finishing our shopping and taking photos, we headed to Wanshou Street for some food! 🍜Guanghan Food: ❶ Liu Douhua: Delicate and fragrant tofu pudding, warming and comforting. ❷ Guokui with Liangfen + Cold Shrimp: Crispy Guokui with refreshing liangfen, and the cold shrimp is a perfect way to cut through the greasiness! ❸ Brothers Mung Bean Cake (takeout): Not too sweet, dense and fluffy. ❹ Hao Yan Dried Tofu (shipping available): I bought the five-spice and spicy flavors and sent them home to enjoy. ❺ Fried Li Jie Maocai: Affordable and generous! It wasn't amazing, but it was great value for money. 👌🏻 ❻ Green Frost Fried Ice Cream: Refreshing and cooling! You can sit down and bask in the sun when you are tired. There are very few food options in the dining area.). After the tour, it is still early for the return train, so you can take a taxi back to the city center to eat and eat before going [covering face]. It takes more than ten minutes to take a taxi from Sanxingdui to the city center. 2. Accommodation It is recommended to choose the city center (near Fanghu Park and Bailun Department Store). It costs 23 yuan to rent a voice guide, which is like a mobile phone. If you want to carefully look at the cultural relics in the museum and take enough photos by yourself, you can choose this, but the premise is to do some homework on Sanxingdui in advance. We wanted to see it for a longer time, so we rented two and went to see and take pictures of what we liked. (The disadvantage is that the tour lacks the continuity of a tour guide, and the audio explanation is not as vivid as the tour guide). Another way is to scan the code for 10 yuan to buy an online audio explanation. It is better to bring your own headphones, otherwise it will be very disturbing to others to turn on the loudspeaker in the museum. The museum has a limited flow, and each hall can only be entered and exited once, so it is not convenient to enter again after the manual tour guide takes you out. Then you can only ask to walk slower and take pictures when listening to the explanation (I guess it is impossible when there are many tourists) Finally, it is recommended to choose a good day to visit the museum, because too many people will affect the viewing experience.
