It is located in a cultural scenic spot that symbolizes the cultural roots of Fuzhou. It constructs a vegetarian experience full of literati's elegance and Zen, while integrating modern elements in a classical Chinese courtyard building. The quiet and winding alleys have a solemn sense of history and humanity. The simple and elegant gate is the front hall with furniture in the style of the top scholar, such as the champion chair. Facing you is the elegant atmosphere of sandalwood combined with Fuzhou jasmine. A long scroll of landscape paintings from the Song Dynasty is hung on the wall. The neat and orderly guest seats are all designed in a simple and unsophisticated new Chinese style. The transparent restaurant with large floor-to-ceiling glass is refreshing. Outside the window is a garden scene with green trees and white walls and gray tiles, accompanied by the lingering sound of the guqin.

This is a self-service high-end vegetarian restaurant, and you can also order a la carte on the second floor. You have to walk through several winding corridors to get in. It is very quiet and isolated from the noise of the street. The decoration inside the restaurant is antique and has screens inside. It is elegant and simple, but not vulgar or noisy. The gray walls and tiles, red painted beams, and big red lanterns hanging high show a pleasing classical style everywhere.
The environment is nice and the service is OK. The food is all vegetarian and the stew is very unpalatable, with a taste of boiled water.
The most delightful surprise of my three-day trip to Fuzhou was staying at Sanbao Hotel! It's a perfect blend of traditional Chinese style and modern convenience. Just steps outside is the famous Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) of Fuzhou, and it's an 8-minute walk to Ximen Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient to reach other attractions in Fuzhou. Truly a prime location! ✨ 🏯 【A Photogenic Oriental Aesthetic Space】 Although it's a newly built antique-style building, it blends seamlessly with the ancient houses of Sanfang Qixiang! It feels like stepping back in time! The rooms are furnished with Chinese-style furniture, with lush greenery outside the windows, and the warm lighting at night creates a particularly cozy atmosphere. I loved sitting by the window, sipping the hotel's complimentary white tea and watching the street scene; every snapshot was a masterpiece of traditional Chinese style! 🛎️ 【Five-Star-Level Butler Service】 Upon arrival, a butler provided a full-service introduction, patiently explaining even the room's amenities. Fresh fruit was thoughtfully delivered daily – a delight for anyone with an eye for detail! The toiletries were all from high-end brands, and the room was impeccably clean. 🍵 【Immersive Cultural Experience】 Beyond the accommodation itself, the hotel offers many unique activities: making lacquer fans, beadwork... and complimentary refreshments are served in the lobby! Their vegetarian breakfast is highly recommended—a diverse and healthy option, definitely a highlight of your Fuzhou trip! ⚠️ Useful Tips: • The night view of Sanfang Qixiang is stunning; a stroll in the evening is highly recommended. • The hotel is close to Daming Food Street, a haven for late-night food lovers. • Rooms with courtyards are highly recommended for a more poetic experience. • Advance booking entitles you to complimentary afternoon tea. Stay here and experience the historical charm of Fuzhou's old town while enjoying the comfort and convenience of a modern hotel—a worthwhile investment! For those visiting Fuzhou, just go for it! #FuzhouHotels #SanfangQixiang #CharacteristicHomestays #FuzhouTourism #CityTravel
This time I discovered a treasure hotel in Sanfang Qixiang, Fuzhou! Sanbao Residence embodies the charm of Fujian Province in every detail. Sipping jasmine tea in front of the carved window lattices on a rainy day is the perfect ambiance! 💯 📍 Hotel highlights one by one 1️⃣ Awesome location • 251 Tonghu Road is a fantastic location, located within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area, close to the main street. It's a 5-minute walk to the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall and a 10-minute walk to Daming Food Street (a favorite for late-night snack lovers). • Transportation Tip: A taxi from the airport takes about 60 minutes, and the hotel can arrange taxis. 2️⃣ Stunning architectural aesthetics • The lavishly crafted Chinese-style courtyard with a blue relief backdrop is a true photogenic choice (wearing Hanfu or a plain long skirt is recommended). • Each room has its own unique theme. Our "Cloud Rising" room came with a private courtyard. Watching water dripping from the eaves on a rainy day was incredibly relaxing! 🌧️ 3️⃣ Amazing cultural experiences • The free activities are incredible! Make your own lacquer fan as a souvenir, and DIY beading is perfect for bringing kids. • Fuzhou jasmine tea is served during tea breaks in the lobby all day, and there's a surprise goodnight sweet soup in the evening. 4️⃣ Room Details • L'Occitane amenities, and the bathroom features a smart toilet. • The mattress is the perfect firmness, and there's both a USB and regular outlet at the bedside. • The minibar is free and even includes Fuzhou's specialty olive juice. 🍵 Hidden Breakfast Menu Even vegetarian breakfasts are a surprise! A Fuzhou taste bud memory +1. 📸 Filming Guide • Best camera locations: The courtyard corridor, the carved door frames in the rooms, and the glazed screen in the lobby. • Bonus prop: Ask the front desk to borrow an oil-paper umbrella or round fan; rainy weather enhances the hazy beauty. ⚠️ Practical Tips • Be sure to book a room with a view in advance! Only six rooms with courtyards are available. • Nearby restaurants: Old Fuzhou Xuji (pot-side porridge) and Tongli Rouyan (a century-old restaurant) are within walking distance. • Cultural bonus: The scenic area is less crowded after 7 PM, and taking photos when the lanterns are lit creates a sense of time travel. Who knows the feeling of soaking in a traditional hot spring amidst a jungle of concrete? This hotel captures the essence of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys within modern comforts. It's time for a spontaneous Mindu Renaissance experience! #Must-StayHotelsFuzhou #Three Lanes and Seven AlleysGuide #AncientB&B #FujianTravel #CulturalExperience
