Who knows the joy of eating my way through two days and one night with a local guide? 1️⃣ Lao Hejia Yajie Mutton Soup Bun Restaurant (Main Branch) 📍50 meters east of South Korea Cross Over a decade of flavor. A time-honored Fuping establishment, a place I've been eating since I was a kid. Unlimited refills of pickled garlic and side dishes. 🅿️Free parking for one hour nearby. 2️⃣ St. John's Grilled Wings 📍Across from the Full Hotel on South Korea Street. A restaurant with over a decade of history, specializing in grilled wings. Any Fuping chicken wing lover will know this small establishment. Their grilled chicken wings, lazy mash, and fried steamed buns are must-try! 3️⃣ Xiangxiang Dumpling House (Lianhu Street East Section) 📍No. 356, Lianhu Street East Section This established shop has been open for over a decade🥟. They offer steamed dumplings, boiled dumplings, and vegetable rolls. The lean pork and leek, double leek, and alfalfa vegetable rolls are must-try items. ⚠️ Their vegetarian combo is also incredible! The steamed gluten, similar to Qishan Guagua, is incredible! ‼ ️ 4️⃣ Old Station Meatball Soup 📍Next to Station Road Local night owls know this place is open from 5 PM until 2 or 3 AM. It's rare to find a line for a late-night snack. The meatball soup and the pickled vegetable and spicy steamed bun are truly exceptional! ️One person can grab several. 5️⃣ Lu's Empress Dowager Cake (Fuping Branch) 📍Intersection of Renmin Road and Pinyang Avenue This intangible cultural heritage-level shortbread is a must-try in Fuping. The freshly baked Empress Dowager Cake is so crispy it's falling apart, and the traditional five-nut filling is sweet but not greasy. 6️⃣ Wei Ji Rou Jia Mo (Sanqin set meal fans should check it out) 7️⃣ Zhu Yuan Hometown Pancake (Pancake and vegetable wrap fans should check it out) ………So many more Every city and every county has its own unique delicacies.
