The lamb chops here are 2 jins and above, so if you don't have enough people, you can't try them. I could only order the cumin lamb, which was quite a large portion, but it was too tough. The vegetables were good. Duoyuan was very honest and said that two dishes were enough for the two of us.

The service was super good, super friendly, the food was affordable, and the boss sent us back to the hotel for free.

Back from Inner Mongolia! Here's a record of my trip. Four adults, departing from Jinan, transiting through Shijiazhuang. Accommodation requirements weren't high, no bad experiences. Itinerary Day 1️⃣: Shijiazhuang [TakeOff] Manzhouli ✨Katyusha Western Restaurant (Address: No. 5, Building 2, Xihuayuan Community, Wenming Road) [Tableware] The sausage, flambéed steak, and red pine soup were really not to my liking. ✨186 Ribbon River (Entrance fee 32 RMB) ⏰Open from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM 📍186 km marker on the border highway. The colorful ribbons on the grassland, every shot is a masterpiece!📸 Arrived at Heishantou in the evening, unfortunately no sunset due to the weather. ✨Ziyu Restaurant (Opposite S301 Grassland Hotel) 🐑Roasted lamb chops and lamb offal soup were both delicious. A Mongolian restaurant with excellent value for money, the bok choy and mushroom salad was also amazing! 🏨Jiayuan Homestay (approximately 500 meters north of Yipinxian on Central Street) Stay in a log cabin. The homestay has a large courtyard where the owner grows many vegetables and flowers. Day 2️⃣: 🐎Huluge Horse Ranch (No. 405, South 1st Street, Liangxi Village) Experience the essential riding skills of a Mongolian man! The whole family rode horses across the wetlands, a round trip of one and a half hours, a fantastic experience! 🛣Self-driving on the Border Highway Every frame is a Windows desktop wallpaper-worthy view🌄 The Kaxian Highway is absolutely stunning. My favorite sections are the fifth and sixth sections; on the left is the slightly yellow Ergun River wetland, and on the right are green hillsides. ⛰ Ergun River & Wulan Mountain Scenic Area (Free admission with tour guide certificate) Take a monkey-shaped cart up the mountain and see the natural Tai Chi diagram. The winding river under the blue sky and white clouds is breathtaking. 🏡 Pass through Shiwei and arrive at Linjiang, check into Ergun Tourist Homestay. Day 3️⃣: Get up early and walk to Shenxianpo to see the scenery on the left bank of the Ergun River, and check in at the 112 boundary marker. You can ride horses up the mountain from the village and experience riding through the forest. Take a boat trip on the Shiwei border river to see the scenery of the Russian town. Lunch: Modala casserole, the stir-fried eggs with chive blossoms are super delicious. In the afternoon, arrive at Moerdaoga Forest Park. The route to enter by car is very long, so it is recommended to allow enough time. Do not feed the chipmunks here; they are few and shy. Dinner: Eat Hu Laoda's iron pot stew in Moerdaoga town; it's delicious. Day 4️⃣ Went to the Longyan morning market early to buy mushrooms 🍄, various white mushrooms, straw mushrooms, butter mushrooms, and porcini mushrooms. [Tree] After breakfast, entered Longshan Park, overlooking Moerdaoga Town, and encountered many locals picking mushrooms in the mountains. 🌿Departed for the Delbul Xing'an Deer Park. There were many sika deer, and they were very cooperative. When we arrived in the afternoon, the reindeer didn't eat the moss being sold, but instead grazed on the ground. 🌳Passed through Genhe, checked the thermometer at the Cold Pole Square, and climbed the Watchtower Bridge to overlook Genhe. There's a wooden boardwalk next to it that leads into the forest. Arrived in Ergun City in the evening. The entire road was undulating with permafrost, so drove carefully. ☘️Day 5️⃣ Departed early to enter Ergun National Wetland Park. The scenery was unique in the rain. 🐿There were tons of chipmunks, everywhere, and they weren't afraid of people. We arrived at the Morigele River in the afternoon. It's possible to drive in after 5:30 PM and buy tickets at the viewing platform. Unfortunately, the platform closed early due to rain that day, and although it cleared up later, it didn't reopen. We stayed overnight in Hailar District. 🍖Day 6️⃣Final Food Highlights: Explore the Hailar River West Morning Market. You can buy wild berries, blueberries, pine nuts, etc. There are many breakfast stalls. The Hulunbuir History Museum offers a great understanding of Hulunbuir's history and features mammoth fossils. The cultural and creative products are exquisite. 🚗In the afternoon, we drove back to Manzhouli via the Suiman Expressway. Near the Baiyinhada Scenic Area, there are signs for the viewing platform; the view is excellent on a clear day. 🏰The Manzhouli Matryoshka Hotel has a very luxurious and unique decor; it's a great place for photos. Due to time constraints, we didn't visit the National Gate Scenic Area. 📌Useful Tips 1️⃣ The temperature difference on the grassland is significant, and it's also windy. After walking seven miles and passing Heishantou, I thought I would take a break at noon, so I found a restaurant here to have lunch... Ziyu Restaurant is located on the national highway, easy to see. When I entered, the lobby was very lively...
