We spent five days traveling from the Yi-dominated Daliang Mountains in southwestern Sichuan, passing through Leshan, to Daofu in the Tibetan region of Ganzi in northwestern Sichuan, and then returning to Chengdu via Xinduqiao. This is arguably the most unique loop of western Sichuan to date, offering diverse scenery and cultural experiences at a comfortable pace, traversing both wild and exquisite landscapes. It's hard to describe! 📆[Itinerary Guide] 📆 Itinerary: Day 1: Xichang - Meigu County, Daliangshan - Leshan Depart from Xichang Qingshan Airport at 11:00 AM. Have lunch in Meigu County. Approaching the Leshan section of National Highway 348 (Figure 6), you'll find scenery reminiscent of the treacherous Shu Road, winding through cliffs. From Xinduqiao to Chengdu, it's recommended to detour via Ganzi Kangding Airport (Figure 20).
