I love the Huyang braised pancakes here. They are very tasty and go really well with a drink.
‼️p2-p4 Jingyuan Galiu Lamb🐑 Arrived at 6 PM on the first day and lined up for table 58, but gave up. Arrived at 8:30 PM on the second day and just happened to get in~ As expected of a long-time internet celebrity, every dish was a delight to us. The white-strip lamb wasn't at all smelly! It had a delicate, meaty aroma and was incredibly tender. The chili flakes and garlic slices made it perfect. The cumin lamb was roasted to a crispy exterior and tender interior, not greasy. The aroma soothed away a day's fatigue. The scallion eggs were larger and firmer than the scallions in Zhangye. The scallion flavor wasn't overpowering, so even those who don't like scallions can rest assured. The scrambled eggs were fragrant and a great dish to go with rice. The lamb in the Huyang Braised Pancake was glutinous. The chewy dough and broth were fantastic. The sauerkraut and vermicelli meatballs were incredibly filling!!! I'd still order the small portion; be careful with the large one~ The sour taste was very appetizing, and the fried meatballs were incredibly delicious! - ‼ ️p5 Big Beard Grilled Lamb Chops A huge portion of simmered lamb in a kang kong. The meat and vegetables were perfect, and the potatoes were perfectly roasted. The lamb wasn't overly smelly, and the texture was good. - ‼ ️p6 Egg Fermented Gravy This is available everywhere 🉑 We ordered it at a barbecue restaurant. The barbecue restaurant was a bit disappointing, so I wouldn't recommend it~ But the egg fermented gravy was delicious! It had an eggy aroma and just the right amount of sweetness. - ‼ ️p7 Fruit I bought on the roadside just outside the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain. Gansu fruits are so sweet and juicy. And best of all, they're cheap! I bought several varieties and carried back tons of bags. It was only 40 yuan in one payment. Oh my god! That's amazing!
🌌Dunhuang night view + the aroma of barbecue = life is worth it Who can resist eating barbecue under the stars along the Silk Road? The evening breeze from the riverbank is filled with the aroma of charcoal fire, while above you can see the Dunhuang-themed light show, and your ears are filled with the gurgling sound of the musical fountain. 🌊 Lamb chops sizzle on the wooden table, while the murals on the wall are bathed in warm yellow light. It feels like eating at a camel caravan station thousands of years ago—wait, eat your phone first! 📸 🐏: Miao Street Huyang BBQ 🎈: Building 8, Miao Street, Binhe Road, Dunhuang (front row, center seat along the river) 💰: 70r for a 1,000 yuan atmosphere‼ ️ 🕰️: Grab a window table at 5:30pm, and you can capture the golden sunset over the river at 6pm. Be warned, there will be lines after 8pm! But! After 10pm, the lights are on for a more dreamy experience! Perfect with beer ✨ 🐏Golden Tomahawk Lamb Chops Jiu Min 🆘These lamb chops are bursting with juice!! 💥 The crust is as crispy as the rammed earth walls of Dunhuang, and the instant you bite into it, the gravy bursts straight into your throat! The aroma of charcoal fire mingles with the aroma of milk, and the chili powder makes it divine! The owner claims they only use three-month-old salt pond beach sheep, and they go from pasture to grill in less than three hours! 🐔Stunning Boneless Chicken Feet So sticky you can actually suck them! The gelatin sticks to your lips, and the spiciness slowly creeps up your tongue. 🌶️ Don't throw them away after you're done! ㊙️ Mix the broth with naan bread for a double dose of carbs and collagen—who knows?! 🫓Dunhuang Intangible Heritage Braised Pancakes The flatbread is even more formidable than the meat! Thin enough to be translucent yet incredibly chewy, after soaking up the rich lamb broth, every bite feels like drinking a liquid mural—don't ask me what it tastes like, it's all about culture! 🍹Apricot Peel Water The owner brews his own homemade apricot peel water, sour and sweet, refreshing and soothing. 👍🏻 Other shops sell food, but this one serves "Twelve Hours in Dunhuang"— At noon, enjoy lamb chops under the scorching desert sun, at dusk, nibble on chicken feet against the sunset glow, and late at night, when the lights come on, a bowl of braised pancakes brings back the flavors of the ancient Silk Road. 👉 What are some of the "one-bite, god-like" barbecue in your city?
