Tuqiaoshouzhangji【dujiangyandian】

This should be a decades-old shop in Dujiangyan. Tuqiao Palm Chicken is said to sell chicken, but in fact it is a collection of various home-cooked dishes, including three steamed and nine braised dishes. The old shop is much cleaner and brighter after renovation. The cold chicken is better than most restaurants. On the contrary, I prefer its sweet braised pork, salty braised pork, and braised pork intestines. What I admire is that the taste of this old shop can still be maintained as before after so many years. It is a rare persistence. I hope that more old shops like this can be preserved.

Good value for money, the four of us ate 190 yuan and were very full, the signature dish was only 50 yuan, and other meat dishes were not expensive. They open at 11:30 noon, if you go too early, people will ignore you. But the service is not bad, we took a lot of cards at the beginning, and they also suggested to take less.

A friend recommended it to us. We arrived at Dujiangyan after a four-hour drive. We were all exhausted. We navigated here. It was past 8pm and there were still a lot of people. The most unique thing is that you can order dishes directly at the door and pick up skewers. The price is reasonable. We went there for two consecutive days.

It's a very nice restaurant with unique dishes. I especially like the cold chicken made by this restaurant, which tastes pretty good.
