The chicken I ordered this time was a roast chicken, a whole one, a big plate (see picture 1). Picture 2 is the dipping sauce. It tasted good and was quite popular. It was just a little salty, even without the dipping sauce. Finally, they gave me watermelon (see picture 3). I haven't eaten it for a long time. I tried two pieces, it was quite sandy and sweet.

This time I asked the food manager to send me some dessert, and they sent me a new variety, pumpkin raisin cake. It looks good, so I was looking forward to it (see picture 1). I took a piece and looked carefully, and there were indeed raisins (see picture 2). I was a little disappointed with the taste, and I felt that it had nothing to do with pumpkin?

In the golden autumn season, we can also see the Double Ninth Festival. The billboards outside the Dongcheng Restaurant have also been changed to seasonal delicacies. The golden pig in the first picture is 738 yuan each. The second picture is the roast goose, 276 yuan each. The golden pigeon is the signature dish here, 28 yuan each, see the third picture.

Dongcheng Restaurant is located on Shatai Road, Humen Town, diagonally opposite Taiping Square. It is a long-established local Cantonese restaurant. Due to the epidemic, it was closed for a while at the beginning of the year, so I haven't been there for a long time. I went there for lunch this time and booked a room. The decoration is simple (see photos), a bit old, but the popularity has recovered, and the service is okay.

The weather was clear and crisp in autumn, so I went to Dongcheng Restaurant on Shatai Road in Humen Town for lunch again. I ordered papaya and pig lung soup to moisten my stomach. There was not much soup as usual, and the soup residue is shown in Figure 1. I took a piece of papaya (see Figure 2), which was quite sweet. The soup tasted okay, and each person had a bowl (see Figure 3).

The standard dish is to order a green leafy vegetable. The manager said that Zengcheng Chinese cabbage was just on the market, so we ordered a stir-fried Zengcheng Chinese cabbage with garlic (see picture 1). It looked so-so and not very tasty (see picture 2). It was the season when Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs were on the market, and there was a promotional picture outside the store (see picture 3).
