SHUNFENGSHANZHUANG

During the Chinese New Year, I gathered with friends and family to celebrate the New Year and had a meal at this famous restaurant. The chef's skills and craftsmanship can be tasted in its several dishes. Even the common egg tarts and steamed cakes are so delicious that you will finish them in seconds after they are served.

I have heard of this restaurant for a long time. Today, I finally had the opportunity to dine here for a business occasion. I heard that this used to be a very high-end private guesthouse, not open to ordinary consumers. Today, the landlord partner booked a large private room, a large table for more than 20 people, and the dishes served were all signature dishes of the restaurant, such as squab, bean curd, egg tarts, etc. It is a restaurant that is totally worth coming back to enjoy in private.

I thought I had never been here, but after looking at the sign-in I realized that I had been here in July 2014. I don't quite remember why I came last time, but this time I was mainly here for a dinner party. The tables here are very big and can seat dozens of people. The service is just average. Sometimes, even asking them to prepare cups, it was very slow. The environment is pretty good, a bit high-end, but there are a lot of mosquitoes outside.

I have been here many times. Parking is convenient. The dishes are pretty stable. I recommend the squab and crispy roast pork. As soon as they were served, everyone ate them up with chopsticks. I didn't have time to take pictures. The service of the waiter is also excellent. The environment around the room is also very good. I smelled the barbecue and walked over curiously to see that there was also roasted whole lamb in the villa. Someone helped to roast and cut the meat. I can try this next time.

There are different levels of dim sum. The ones with the best appearance are the best. The egg tarts are super delicious.
