There are quite a lot of places to eat on this street above Moganshan Town. Anyway, just go with the flow. The environment of this restaurant is quite good. The facade has a bit of antique Chinese classical charm. It is clean and warm inside. Then I saw a few small words, "15-year-old store". I think since it can survive for 15 years, it must not be too bad. I personally feel quite satisfied with the taste. The egg fried with fungus is eye-catching when it is served. The authentic farm grass eggs taste better than ordinary eggs! The chicken soup is also very delicious! Served with a spring roll and two bowls of rice! It is perfect! In the end, the per capita cost is not very expensive, a little over 70, and the cost performance is still superb!
It was recommended by a friend who said their dishes were very cost-effective and tasted good. I ordered a few cold dishes. It seemed that people there quite like the braised chicken feet. It felt a bit dry and hard.
it's a truely welcomed local restaurant, the boss is very easy-going guys, he offer the really good tasted foods, we all like it quite well.
I highly recommend this restaurant as a must-try. We went there at 8 o'clock, and there weren't that many people in the restaurant. I didn't have high expectations when ordering because it's Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, but the owner is super nice. Although it's difficult to satisfy the strong taste, he tries his best to meet the needs of every diner, and each dish is more amazing than the last! When it's not busy, he will ask customers for feedback from each table. He is really close to the owner. I remember that when I took the photo, there was only the last river shrimp left. The other stir-fried snails, stone frogs, pork belly and edamame were all finished. It was so delicious that I wanted to continue with two bottles of wine, haha. In the end, the food was left at the store, and the owner chased me out to deliver it. It's a twelve-year-old restaurant. I will come again next time. It's a rare experience.
The chicken soup was delicious, but the bamboo shoots were a bit too strong. The chicken was overcooked. There was a good amount of wild fish, including small loaches, crucian carp, and small longspined fish. However, the fish wasn't killed alive; the texture was lacking, and the taste was poor, as if it had just been taken out of the refrigerator. The vegetables were quite tasty, though. Overall, it's overrated and not worth the price. After driving an hour down the mountain to eat here, I was a little disappointed.
