The first time I went to Chun'an was in 2001. There was no highway. It took 4-6 hours to get to the county town from Hangzhou along the national highway. Chun'an now is no longer a traditional tourist attraction. It can be considered a resort. I walked into a roadside food stall at random. This store really overturned my inherent impression of food stalls! The whole store is decorated in an artistic and petty bourgeoisie style. There are many delicate and warm details in the industrial style. It is right by the lake. The outdoor dining seats have a great view. When the weather is good, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset of Qiandao Lake while tasting delicious food. It is really amazing!

There's paradise above, and Suzhou and Hangzhou below. Suzhou is renowned for its gardens, while Hangzhou boasts two lakes known to everyone: West Lake for its rich culture, and Qiandao Lake for its beautiful scenery. During a vacation at Qiandao Lake in Zhejiang, I recommend a restaurant where you can enjoy fish heads on a boat. How could you miss eating fish when visiting Qiandao Lake? That evening, my friends and I went to Yuxiangzi again. Yuxiangzi is a cultural heritage store dedicated to the Mu Opera, an intangible cultural heritage of Chun'an. It has a stage and occasionally features Mu Opera and bamboo horse performances. The restaurant's decor is quite unique; the entire restaurant is spacious, with covered boats on the waterway. The large fish head sedan chair arrives with the sound of gongs and drums, creating a very ceremonial atmosphere. The fish is served in a variety of flavors, and the chef, with his obsessive-compulsive disorder, arranges them neatly. A trip to Qiandao Lake is worth it just for the fish!
