A chicken must be at least 6 jin. It is recommended to find more friends to eat. If there are two people, they will definitely not be able to finish it and need to pack it up. We ordered a 6.8 jin chicken, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, seasonal vegetable chicken blood soup, sugar-mixed tomatoes, amber walnuts, and brown sugar baba. Sugar-mixed tomatoes and amber walnuts are both recommended side dishes. Sugar-mixed tomatoes have the taste of childhood. The tomatoes are juicy and sweet, especially after eating spicy food, eating tomatoes is particularly refreshing. Amber walnuts are crispy and very fragrant. Liangshan Chicken is a big dish with a rich herbal soup base. A large pot is heated on the induction cooker, slowly emitting the aroma of herbs. The surface of the pot is covered with red oil, but there is also a way to eat it without being spicy. The waiter enthusiastically introduced how to eat this chicken. If you don’t want to eat it too spicy, you can scoop out the soup from the bottom of the soup base and dip the chicken in it. The soup spoon that comes with it is also specially made. There is not much sauce here, but it is also okay to eat it in its original flavor.
I finally had the Liangshan chicken that I had been thinking about all the time, thanks to my friend's arrangement. The red pot was served, and you could feel the richness of this Jianghu dish. As expected, the Liangshan chicken had a strong medicinal flavor. In addition to being spicy, it was more of the taste of those Chinese herbal medicines. The chicken was not dry, but it was not as good as I imagined. Maybe it was due to my personal taste. I will try the chestnut stewed chicken next time and see how it goes!
