The soup base tastes good, especially the matsutake chicken soup, which is very fresh and the taste is not too salty or bland. The dishes are quite rich, and the combination of seafood, meat, and vegetables is also good. In addition, the service is professional, meticulous, and there is space. The overall experience is very good, and it is a restaurant that you will return to.

Incredibly luxurious experience for an affordable price. The food tasted great and was also in big amounts. If you don&rsquo;t eat spicy food, it is also possible to request no spice in your food. The service was sublime, each table is assigned a personal waiter, ours was Anna, who was very attentive and sweet. She answered any questions we had about the culture in Chongqing and even provided wipes for my glasses when I mentioned that my glasses were dirty. The toilets were also very clean and they offer you free mouthwash and a comb for you to take if needed. Overall an incredible experience.

I was walking on the street in Jiefangbei at noon. I was hungry and wanted to find a place to eat, so I came to this restaurant. The waiter welcomed me with great energy when I entered the door, and took me to my seat to scan the code to order. While the dishes were being served, I observed the whole restaurant. It is Chinese style, with wooden furniture, a bit hard seats, and a large area. The peas are very tender and sweet. The spicy chicken is very fragrant, with small twists in it. The dishes, prices and service are all good, you can go and try it.

On the first day of dinner in Chongqing, I wanted to eat homemade tofu, so I searched for this restaurant.
The homemade tofu here is Q. Different from the method in Beijing using bean paste, it is more like a braised sauce, but this method is more special, salty and fragrant
It is soft and tender, but a little thick, probably because of the sauce. The overall taste is amazing! The cauliflower is cooked well, not too soft or hard, and the saltiness is moderate. The small noodles are average, and the white soup noodles don&#39;t look appetizing.

Day 1: Kicked things off with a dinner date at BeSo, and honestly, the food was sooo good 😊 If you’re after riverside aesthetics and mouthwatering dishes, this spot’s a must-try! Pro tip: It’s located at No. L3-05, L3-06, K01, K02 at the Riverside Road of the Yangtze River, right by the Lai Fufi Shopping Center, so you can soak in the vibes before or after your meal.

Day 2: Went on a total shopping spree and played tourist all day, then danced the night away at a local bar—Chongqing nightlife = major vibes. For something extra fun, hit up Sky City Amusement Experience World (重庆市渝中区陕西路7号). This place is basically a playground for grown-ups, packed with wild rides and Insta-worthy spots.

Day 3: Wrapped things up with a chill brunch and (yep, you guessed it) more shopping. Chongqing malls have everything, from high street to super local brands—wallet beware!

Stayed at the Howard Johnson Zhujiang Hotel Chongqing (No.196 Liujia Wharf, Beibin 1st Road). The river view is breathtaking and 100% healing—perfect for those “OMG, look at this city!” snaps. Rooms are spacious, tidy, and beds are super comfy. While the service got props for being friendly and helpful (especially the front desk!), some guests think the facilities could use a little glow-up. Bonus: Loads of tasty local eats are just a short walk away, so midnight cravings are sorted!
