Braving Aranya alone, the stamina was truly incredible. Aranya has always been a place of "poetry and distant places" in my mind. This time, I finally mustered up the courage to set foot on this artistic and romantic land alone. Heading to Aranya There are several ways to get to Aranya. I took the high-speed rail to Beidaihe Station. As soon as I exited the station, I saw the Aranya shuttle bus sign. It's 25 RMB per person and takes you directly to the park, making it convenient and affordable. For a more relaxed experience, you can also take a taxi for around 60-80 RMB, which takes 30-40 minutes. Of course, driving yourself is also fantastic, starting from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the scenery is breathtaking along the way. The only downside is that if you're staying at a guesthouse, you'll need to reserve a parking space two days in advance. If the park is full, you'll have to park outside and take the shuttle bus back in. The Right Way to Visit Aranya Aranya is no ordinary scenic spot; it's a high-end resort community. To enter, you either need to become a homeowner, stay at one of its hotels or make advance reservations for venues like the Lonely Library and the Dune Art Museum. Alternatively, you can buy a movie ticket or make a restaurant reservation at Aranya. Encountering the Orange Sea Sunrise Watching the Orange Sea sunrise in Aranya is truly an unforgettable experience. Before dawn, I arrived at the beach, wrapped in my coat. There were already a few people on the beach, but they were all quiet, eagerly anticipating the sunrise. As the sky gradually began to light up, the seawater stained a faint pink. Slowly, the sun rose from the horizon, painting the sky a vibrant orange. The shimmering surface seemed awash in gold. At that moment, I was transfixed, feeling as if all my worries had been healed by this beautiful sight. Popular check-in landmarks Aranya Auditorium, the iconic landmark of Aranya, stands a pure white auditorium on the seashore, breathtakingly beautiful at any time of day. Early in the morning, when the crowds are minimal, the soft light creates a captivating atmosphere in any photo, and the silhouettes are stunning, making it feel like stepping into a movie. The Lonely Library is also incredibly captivating. Reading to the sound of the waves is truly magical! The library boasts a unique architecture and faces the sea, making it incredibly quiet. However, reservations are required; I had to set several alarms to secure a spot. The Dune Art Museum, hidden beneath the sand dunes, features a cave-like design and a seamless blend of light and shadow. Entering it is like stepping into a mysterious art world. Inside, there are various art exhibitions, and every corner is filled with artistic flair, making for stunning photos. The spiral staircase in the art center is a must-see. There are also various art exhibitions scheduled, so artistic young people shouldn't miss it. The Dionysus Theater, reminiscent of an ancient Greek theater, offers a chance to experience the fusion of art and history by watching a performance. At night, when the lights come on, the atmosphere is breathtakingly photogenic. Aranya on the Tip of the Tongue After a tiring day, it's time to enjoy a good meal! Aranya boasts a wealth of delicious food, and the campus cafeteria offers excellent value, filling you up for just over 50 yuan per person. Canteen 3 offers a wide variety of breakfast options, and Canteen 6's seafood noodles are a must-try; they're so delicious you'll almost drop your eyebrows. The seafood at the Fish Market Pier is also incredibly fresh. The grilled hairtail is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the flavor is unbelievable. Senhai Yinquan, a Japanese restaurant nestled in a forest glass house, offers incredibly fresh salmon sashimi, making it incredibly satisfying. Bar Lotus has floor-to-ceiling windows by the sea. Ordering an iced coconut Americano and gazing out at the ocean is incredibly relaxing. Experiencing the Beauty of Aranya This solo adventure to Aranya was truly a fantastic experience. Here, I felt the vastness of the ocean, the charm of art, and the relaxing pace of life. Even though I was alone, I didn't feel lonely at all. Instead, I gained many wonderful memories.
