Food, ambience and service is 10/10. People are friendly and understand true meaning of hospitality Highly recommended
This level of French cuisine is located in a historic place where a great living Buddha once lived. It is cost-effective. Each dish is very beautiful and has rich flavors. The two restaurant managers, a Chinese and a foreigner, are very professional. The difference between the dishes they introduced and those introduced by the intern girl is obvious. The most surprising pork chop of all the dishes really tastes like beef. I like the chef's control of the heat.
We recently dined at the TRB Hutong on our wedding day, it was an absolute pleasure. The staff were incredibly attentive and we were made to feel welcome immediately. We were shown to the best table in the restaurant and invited to a glass of champagne by the very impressive head waiter. We then proceeded to be presented with a taster menu of what I can only describe as ‘works of art’. The dishes were incredible, immaculately presented and each with their own interesting, personal stories described by the chef, Luke Armstrong. We were honored to be joined by Luke briefly to present our dessert course, despite what I imagine was a busy evening for him, he was very charming and personable. He gifted my wife a sugar rose crafted by one of his students and gave me probably the best chocolate cake I’ve ever tasted. The staff then put a cherry on top of the whole evening by presenting us with two printed photos of us at the table enjoying the food. It was an absolutely incredible experience that we’ll never forget, we recommend anyone who has the means to dine at this restaurant.
I haven't been to TRB for a long time. I booked a private room two days in advance. The environment is nice. I ordered the caviar set meal. The ingredients are very fresh. It is mainly seafood, so the portions are quite small. It is just right for dinner. It is very delicate. I ordered a bottle of red wine, which is also very delicious. I wanted to add another bottle, but it was out of stock... When I mentioned my birthday next week during the chat, the waiter quietly brought a cake. It's thoughtful...
Located in Dongjingyuan, the environment and atmosphere of this restaurant are a highlight. As one of the earliest Fine Dining restaurants in Beijing Hutong, it combines modern style with ancient buildings. I personally think it is more flavorful than luxury restaurants in skyscrapers. Beijing in the twelfth lunar month is bleak, and the atmosphere of the ancient temple is quiet. The floor-to-ceiling windows bring the rare winter sunshine and the authentic imperial red of the temple gate. 💁Service I have eaten at many restaurants that charge service fees, and TRB Hutong can be said to be one of the rare restaurants that are worth the money. Unlike the high-end tone of fine dining restaurants in my impression, TRB's service is very flexible, and our person in charge Kyle's response is also quite fast. I accidentally mentioned that a friend was about to have a birthday, and the red heart cake was served in a blink of an eye. We didn't order any drinks to go with the meal, but we were given two delicious wines to go with the main course and dessert.
TRB Hutong, a western restaurant hidden in a 600-year-old temple, has exquisite food, considerate service, and a great experience~ I came here for lunch and ordered a set meal. The main dish was lamb, which was very delicately designed and very forest-style, with vegetables and sauces. The lamb was well-prepared, tender and without any smell. Thumbs up!
Michelin Beijing Restaurant ing Witnessed the gradual change of TRB in Beijing, and returned to the original restaurant again. The environment remains the same, the service is up and the food quality is constantly improving. The original sense of ritual continues to be maintained, which is also the foreshadowing of winning the Michelin recommendation. However, we all agree that the dishes do have room for improvement. The foreplay of appetizers and small glasses of sparkling wine is full of sincerity, refreshing and appetizing. My friend who just came back from skiing was a little drunk after drinking, and the candlelight became more blurred [covering face] The following foie gras and scallops were all given to me. It was really a bit too much for one person to absorb double. TRB is obsessed with the sauce for every dish, especially the main dish. The waiter really has a sense of ritual, so that the sauce is more important than the original taste of the ingredients. Imagine that many ingredients rush into the tongue and throat at once, omitting the top and middle notes, and the back notes are blended together. I woke up early in the morning and recalled for a long time, but I actually forgot what I ate last night that affected the taste deeply.
TRB Hutong, Beijing Went there at noon on the weekend. It's in a small hutong. Walking in, it's a temple-like place. The decoration is very artistic, not high-end. They have BRUNCH on weekends, and you can choose 5 dishes. The dishes are very good. There are more choices for dinner.
