We heard from our group that this barbecue restaurant is delicious, so we bought a group meal for two, which includes three portions of meat, a plate of vegetables, and a bowl of pearl soup. The storefront and business area are not very big, and it is difficult to park at the door at mealtime, so you can only try your luck. The barbecue ingredients are very fresh, especially the black pepper beef, which is grilled and tender on the inside and full of juice. Arxan, a small Chinese town known as the "Oriental Switzerland"🏠 Belonging to a city in Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, its unique geographical environment makes it beautiful all year round Developed into a beautiful tourist destination, as beautiful as a Nordic fairy tale👑 1️⃣Tuofengling Tianchi: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📌First recommendation✨Must go! The mountain is in the shape of a camel bell🔔, and the Tianchi is in the shape of a left foot🐾. It is said that the sound of a stone falling into the Tianchi is like a camel bell in the mountain, hence the name. The view on the top of the mountain is very wide, and the whole person feels comfortable when seeing the Tianchi. Walking along the plank road, you can see the entire green hillside in the distance⛰, one step at a time, which reminds me of the beautiful movie scenes in the movie "Heidi and Grandpa". Only then did I know why Arxan is called the "Swiss Town". 2️⃣Grand Canyon: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There are many strange rocks on both sides of the plank road🗿, many wonders, and a wide range of wild species. There will be many pikas jumping up and down beside the turbulent river🌊, and the whole canyon is filled with their sounds~ 3️⃣Azalea Lake: ⭐️⭐️ It is suitable for the transition after coming down from Tuofengling Tianchi. There is no slope and it is also a holy place to watch the sunrise and sunset🌄. Many tourists sit by the lake and eat a simple lunch, enjoying the slow life at this moment. 🍱 4️⃣Turtle Back Rock: ⭐️ It is in Xing'an Service Area, very small, and there is an abandoned small train next to it🚂 for tourists to pose for photos. 5️⃣Shitang Forest: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The largest extinct volcanic basalt landform in Asia is also one of the wonders of Daxinganling. The geological structure, soil, and vegetation are all kept in their original state, and the whole process of the difficult survival of plant life is truly simulated. It is a natural ecological museum. 🌱 6️⃣Aershan Tianchi: ⭐️⭐️ 1,332 meters above sea level, it never dries up in drought or overflows in rain, and is as flat as a mirror. There are coniferous forests on both sides of the plank road up the mountain. 🌲 If you just want to see Tianchi, you will be a little disappointed. It is a bit hard to climb the mountain. 7️⃣ Santanxia: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The canyon is about 2 kilometers long and is cut by a river. The turbulent Halaha River passes through the valley, and there are cute little squirrels from time to time. 🐿 There is still glaciers in the canyon in June and July, which is called "summer glacier". 8️⃣Dichi: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dichi is the only sunken lake below the ground level among the many volcanic lakes in Arshan. The bank of the pool is steep block basalt, also known as "Fairy Pool". Personally, I think the scenery of Dichi is slightly better than that of Aershan Tianchi. 9️⃣The Unfrozen River and Wusu Langzi Lake are also good places to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. 🌅In the morning, the entire lake is covered with fog, as if you are in a fairyland. ⭐️⭐️ 🌟Travel: Take the route of Arxan City-Bailang Town-Arxan Forest Park-Yilshi. One day in each place is enough (please see my other notes for specific strategies) ①See European-style buildings in Arxan City, and go to Lujiao Bay and Snow Village ②There are Aobao, Frost Corridor, and Deer Park in Bailang Town ③See the Unfrozen River in Arxan Forest Park, and other places are not recommended ④You can buy things in Yiershi, the prices are lower than in Arxan City, and there are more people 🌟Transportation: Arxan has a railway station and Yiershi has an airport. You can choose as needed. In Arxan City, you need to rely on the owner of the homestay to help you call a taxi. In Yiershi, you can hail a taxi on the street by yourself. The starting price is five yuan. You need to charter a car to go to Bailang Town and Arxan Forest Park. Round trip (you can compare prices) 🌟Food: basically barbecue or iron pot stew and hot pot ①Auspicious Grassland BBQ, Duyichu BBQ, Sticky Bean Curd Iron Pot Stew in Arshan City, there is a large supermarket called Wangduoduo (I think it’s this name, I don’t remember it) in Arshan where you can buy things ②There is nothing open in Bailang Town in winter, so eat at whichever one is open ③There are not many stores open in Forest Park in winter, so you have to prepare your own food ④Yilshi Pastoral BBQ, Yuhao BBQ (fried potato chips are delicious), Dingding Supermarket can buy things 🌟Accommodation: Arshan recommends Manbu Yashe Boutique Hotel (the boss lady is very easy-going, just like her own home), Yilshi recommends Songzi Leisure Hotel (clean, relatively new), don’t stay in Forest Park! There is only one hotel open in winter, it’s very average!
