Starting from Hangzhou, we sped right into a bamboo forest! 🚗 An hour's drive brought us to Anji Zhuxian Lake Junlan Manor. The distance is incredibly convenient, perfect for a spontaneous weekend getaway with the kids! The hotel is completely surrounded by bamboo forests and tea plantations, and Zhuxian Lake is just steps away. You can fish and paddle bamboo rafts; the air is filled with a relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the sunset 🌇 at the campsite with its grassy tents ⛺, and even watched an open-air movie under the stars 🎦 at night. The children's playground is a true hands-free paradise! Indoor facilities include slides and a ball pit, while the outdoor pool has different depths, and the kids' favorite bubble pool and water slides—they were so engrossed in playing they didn't want to leave! We specifically chose a room with a private hot spring bath, soaking in the hot spring while watching the bamboo sway in the breeze, and occasionally hearing the chirping of insects—this is what life should be like. We also tried the open-air hot spring halfway up the mountain; soaking in the hot spring surrounded by bamboo groves was incredibly therapeutic. The breakfast was plentiful; enjoying it slowly by the window while gazing at the scenery was pure bliss! The hotel even offers Hanfu photo opportunities, billiards, and they have peacocks! There are tons of places to visit nearby. Hello Kitty Park and Zhongnan Herb Garden are both within a half-hour drive, making it perfect for a two-day, one-night getaway.
