The Lobster House

I recently dined at the Lobster House and ordered the Seafood Royal Paella and the Cream and Wine Mussels. The Cream and Wine Mussels were recommended by our friendly waiter, and they did not disappoint. They were the best mussels I’ve ever had—soft, fresh, and perfectly cooked.The Paella, while still good, was a bit disappointing compared to the mussels. However, the lobster in the paella was excellent. I would definitely return for the mussels if I visit Brussels again in the future.

I took advantage of the 6-hour layover in Brussels to go to the city center. I had to be back at the airport before 1:00, so I had lunch early. However, many stores were open at 12:00, only the lobster house opened at 11:00 in the morning! The taste was good and the price was above average.

We ordered a set meal for two and added a seafood platter, which was just right for three people. We came here mainly for the seafood. The oysters were very fresh, and the seafood pasta had a lot of seafood, including lots of mussels and prawns.

The location is very good, close to the shopping pedestrian street in the city center and also close to Manneken Pis. I checked the highest-rated restaurants nearby. The first time I went there, I forgot to bring my wallet, so I took a taxi back to the hotel to get my wallet and then went there again. The seafood was very good and fresh. The service was very good, and the staff spoke a little Chinese. The portions were very large, and two people ate three meals with bread and were very full, haha.

The seafood set is very, very good, the lobster and oysters are very fresh, I recommend it to everyone.
