Chez Leon 1893

There are many seafood restaurants on Brussels Street. The most authentic one is called Chez Leon. It was established in 1893. The cheese garlic mussels here are awesome! In this restaurant, I met my Korean colleague who used to work at Emirates Airlines and joined KLM last year. The world is so big and the world is so small.. ​

This is an old shop with a history of more than 100 years. It mainly deals in mussels, which are indeed delicious. I ordered French fries and bread to fill my stomach, and I asked for two flavors of mussels, both of which were delicious.

This restaurant is located in Rue des Bouchers, a famous seafood street in Brussels. There are many mussel restaurants nearby, but this one is more crowded with customers. We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm. It was very hot that day, but we still chose to sit on the outdoor street. Each table was very small and close together. The street was not wide and pedestrians kept walking by. When we walked into the store, there was air conditioning. We found that there were dozens of empty tables upstairs and downstairs, but most of the customers chose outdoor seats. We ordered boiled mussels and celery and a platter of lobster, oyster, snail and shellfish. The small table could barely fit them. The kind old man who served us was quick and served the dishes very quickly. The mussels were very fresh and clean. There was no sand in the big pot. The heat was just right, fresh and delicious. The local peeled shrimps were also delicious. After eating the mussels, the milky white soup at the bottom of the pot appeared. After drinking it, I felt that the taste of the mussels had fully entered the soup. The platter was also very delicious. I actually sweated after dinner.

First of all, the taste is good. The set meal we ordered is about 35 euros, which includes beer, salad, fries, and mussels. My husband and I finished this meal, which was just right. Compared with Paris, Brussels is cheap and good quality. I only had mussels in this meal in Belgium, so I can't compare it with other restaurants. I ordered white wine cream, and the cream soup was not salty. A few mussels had sand, but the taste was good. The beer was very good. I also had two beers at another restaurant in the next meal. The environment is OK. Service: Poor, not enthusiastic, and the tone was not good (I thought it was like this before, but after I ate at two restaurants in the next two days, hehe)

This is a very famous Haihong restaurant in Brussels. No matter who you go with, you should eat here~~~. Later, I also ate at this chain store in Paris, but none of them were as delicious as this time. I don’t understand why. The first time I ordered the cheapest set meal~~. I have a very poor alcohol tolerance. I will vomit after drinking sangría~~~so I can’t enjoy the deliciousness of beer~~~People who like to drink should try this

I ate a lot of delicious food in Belgium, but the only one I still miss is this one, because it is so delicious. It has local specialties, and my favorite is the seafood products, which are very fresh and taste great.
