The restaurant is located in Claremont, 5 minutes&#39; drive from the Mona Museum, and the transportation is very convenient. After visiting the museum, go to have lunch. Beef rice, fried chicken rice, chicken curry rice, and fresh salmon from Tasmania. The food is fresh and tastes very good. The price is very affordable. You can eat a full meal for 60 RMB per person. We flew from Melbourne to Hobart and stayed at the Mona Art Museum Hotel for one night, because this way we can fully enjoy the various facilities in the park. We arranged a hotel pick-up to Mona. This time we stayed in the Charles room of the hotel, which was superior and comfortable. Because it was my birthday, the hotel prepared a large exquisite cake in the room. The room is equipped with a wine cabinet, which stores many selected wines of the hotel, but it is charged separately.

This two-story two-bedroom pavilion (two king-size beds) is hung with original works by Brett Whiteley. The upper living room is connected to the large outdoor deck balcony. We were surprised to see the kangaroos in the woods on the balcony. The building is located in the Casuarina forest along the Derwent River. Roman mosaics, Costa Rican stone carvings and ancient coins complement modern furniture. The bedroom and living area are equipped with HD TVs. The granite spa overlooks the river.

➕MONA Art Museum Dining Recommendation: Restaurant FARO 🍽️

This high-end restaurant in the art museum campus seems to be suspended on the river. Exquisite food is accompanied by live art and occasional music/performances/experiments. And the restaurant&#39;s architecture and interior design are a work of art.

Between each course of our dinner, we were fortunate to experience three art installation spaces by the famous artist James Turrell:

⚡The first one: In a circular all-white space similar to space, lying on the bed, experience the mirror image that will appear after the strong flash stimulates our eyes. 📝Note tips: Patients with heart disease or epilepsy, please do not try.
⬛Second item: Walk into a room where you can&#39;t see your hand, and experience relying on your other senses to find the exit.
⚪Finally: A room with a white light design that seems to stretch infinitely and tilt.

In short, the dinner dishes are rich and the oysters taste great. The art experience activity makes the whole dinner a more wonderful journey of taste, vision and touch.

There are direct flights from Melbourne or Sydney, Australia to Hobart. After arriving at the airport, take a taxi or arrange a hotel pick-up to the Mona Art Museum.

If you do not plan to stay in the hotel in the Mona Art Museum, but choose other accommodation in the city center, you can take the Mona special ferry from the center of Hobart for about 25 minutes or drive or take a taxi for about 20 minutes to reach the Mona Art Museum.
