"We were welcomed like honored guests at the hotel. Administrators Farrukh and Mamur promptly fulfilled all our requests. At breakfast, I asked if there were syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes). There weren't any that morning, but they prepared and brought them to us within 15 minutes. Utair airline delayed our flight by 11 hours, and there were no available rooms to extend our stay at the hotel, but the administrators once again ensured our wait was comfortable. We waited for our flight in the cozy hotel lobby. I'd also like to mention the hotel's location, which in our opinion, is the most convenient in Samarkand: a 5-minute walk to Registan, and excellent access to the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"This is probably one of the best hotels my husband and I have ever stayed in.
Everything is wonderful, and you can feel it in the details – from the scent at the entrance to the high-quality tableware at breakfast.
The service is impeccable, the cleanliness is excellent, and the breakfasts are amazing.
I'd also like to highlight the convenient location.
The outdoor pool is lovely, but in my opinion, there aren't enough sun loungers. The indoor spa area is good, but it would be even better if the pool was heated. The gym is also excellent.
On my birthday, the hotel congratulated me with a festive dessert. The next day, before we checked out, some treats were brought to our room. They were already inside when we realized it was a mistake and the gift was meant for other guests. So, you could say they just dangled it in front of us and crushed all our hopes 😂. They could have left it as an apology! Oh well, we're not offended))
The hotel is superb, I highly recommend it!"

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the train station, just a two to three-minute walk away. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, however, was a bit cramped. If you're catching a train the next day and want to make things easy, this is a good option. Breakfast was pretty standard.
Now, about the front desk. The woman in the headscarf at the front desk was absolutely terrible. When I checked in, I told her I booked through Ctrip and handed her my passport. She fiddled around for five minutes, looking everywhere but at the right place, then asked if I'd booked through ***********. Eventually, she gave me a room card for 104, but when I went up, the room hadn't even been cleaned. She then said, 'This is how it is,' and gave me another card for 106, which also hadn't been cleaned. It was already 1 PM, so even if the rooms weren't ready, why put me through all that back and forth? Couldn't she have just told me to store my luggage and go grab lunch first? Both room numbers she gave me were uncleaned. I suggested she could perhaps get one cleaned quickly, but she very firmly said, 'No, it must be 2 PM.' Okay, 2 PM is fine, but why didn't she say so earlier? What was the point of making me drag my luggage back and forth? When I returned at 4 PM, I was given yet another room, 206, and was told they had made a mistake with the rooms!
Separately, the city tax at this hotel is also very strange. The two previous hotels I stayed at in Samarkand charged 41,200, but this one insisted on charging 62,000. Is the city tax different within the same city? I'd like Ctrip to investigate this and clarify the correct amount. Can't they just be transparent with their pricing?"

"Stayed at Mustafa Hotel in Samarkanda. The hotel opened only this year everything is absolutely new, fresh and works perfectly. I liked everything very much.
What I would like to note separately:
1. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern. The interior is designed to the small stylish, with taste, feels like they have put a soul. It's nice to be in the hall, in the rooms, in the common zones. Not just the ”table” cleanliness, but really beautiful design.
2. Excellent pool. Big plus for Samarkanda after a long day of heat walks it is very nice to swim. The pool is clean, tidy, with a comfortable rest area around.
3. Everything new. Since the hotel opened this year, there are no weared furniture, no rubbish coatings, no pipes with paddles. Everything works like clocks. It's a huge plus that overlaps many other moments.
4. The hotel is modern but cozy. Not a huge, faceless ”concrete box,” but a neat, thoughtful option for comfortable rest.
In general, if you want to stay in a really new, beautiful hotel with a great swimming pool and stylish interior Mustafa Hotel, a great choice. I stayed very pleased."

"I thought the rooms were great, big, clean, the bed was comfortable.
Unfortunately, I was woken up by banging outside my window as they thought it wise to build furniture directly outside an occupied room, I would have let it slide, if it didnt happen that evening at 11pm as well, waking me up again.
I had to go tell them to stop, which I found ridiculous. I also specifically booked this hotel for the sauna and swimming pools, which were not usable for 2 out of the 3 days I was there. I understand maintenance are required, but it would have been good to be informed."

"A very nice hotel, about a 10-minute drive from the train station. In Samarkand, if you're not going somewhere particularly far, most taxi rides are probably around 10 minutes. It's located on a wide, bright main road where cars pass quickly. Next door is a restaurant belonging to the same hotel, which looks like one of the locals' favorite banquet halls. Anyway, the location is good.
It's new, the rooms are large, the beds are big, and everything else is great. You can tell the owner prioritizes hygiene; you just feel it's clean as soon as you walk in, cleaner than home. Even their toilet paper is green and scented, which is nice. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom fixtures and hardware are a bit low quality, clashing a bit with the glittering golden exterior decor. I heard there's a pool and spa on the lowest floor, but I didn't have time to experience it. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to visit again."

Stayed in this hotel for two nights. Overall, it is a nice hotel, probably it was constructed a couple years ago. Breakfast was OK. The room was clean. Swimming pool is available. Location is near the canal though it’s not in the city center. If you want to visit attractions in the city, you might need to use Taxi as there is no public transport system that connects that touristic center to the city.

I believe the gentleman named AMAZIGEN (not sure if I spelled that correctly) was the best; he helped me call and notify local clients, which I genuinely appreciate. Of course, the other staff members were also great, and the hotel's chef prepared breakfast every day. Overall, it was a very good experience.

* Location: 15 mins walkable distance to Registan square and a couple other attractions
* Breakfast: a great variety of options ~ hot & cold + few options of fruits and pastries / desserts
* Room: it was ok apart from the AC… which was dripping water once turned on.. hot water available for shower which was great! Beddings were good, a fridge, iron board, iron, a keep safe box, bath robes, 2 bottles of water available in room.
Amenities: hairdryer, towels, shower gel, shampoo, hand wash, tooth brush, tooth paste and cotton buds were provided
Cons…
* Breakfast: starts at 8am and ends at 10am. It starts kind of late especially when some people of early start
* Fitness center: only cardio machine available. Lights are never on, AC not on… also starts 8-8pm just really isn’t ideal timing especially during summer where people may wanna use the gym first thing before they have breakfast/ explore then come back for the gym.. hence I never got chance to use at all… it also looks like it’s never open… it gives a very off putting vibe. The swimming pool looks nice though.

Guest UserEverything was superb! The staff, the room, the service, the pool, and the breakfasts! The room had a great shower, air conditioning, slippers, and a bathrobe. The main pool is deep, and there's a shallow one for children, with nice sun loungers. The breakfasts were varied, and the coffee was delicious. Location-wise, it's a 30-minute walk to the city center. There's also a very cozy summer garden inside the hotel.

Check-in was fast, and the front desk staff were wonderful – they told us everything we needed to know, advised us on the best places to eat and visit, and quickly arranged taxis within the complex. The room service staff were always accommodating, and any requests were met promptly. Room cleaning was very thorough and unobtrusive. We particularly loved the pools in the spa center on the 2nd floor and visited them daily. There's an excellent steakhouse on the 1st floor, and it's within walking distance to the fountains and the Eternal City complex.

SabrinaaaaaaaaaaStayed here for 3 nights, the reception is really helpful and friendly. The room was huge, beds are comfy & breakfast spread was nice. There’s a small incident where when I checked in I asked the reception how do I use the laundry service, and he gave me wrong information which ended up they didn’t do my laundry and I was out of clean clothes. I called the reception at 7pm (the laundry is closed) and they quickly send someone to collect the laundry from me & send it back to me, cleaned the next morning at 8am. But actually the laundry service is only available 10am-6pm. Glad that they took a swift action on this matter!

Alex.UThe hotel is good and the location is excellent. The staff are great. However, the hotel itself needs renovation, especially the shower rooms. It's a solid 3-star, but definitely not a 4-star.
