Eveything was very nice, its all new & very pretty. David checked us in and was very helpful. I use a wheelchair & David put us in a close room and there was space to maneuver. Breakfast was good, they even had nutella packets for waffles đ§
The hotel was clean and in a great location for the reason I was in Birmingham. It was near to the event that I was attending. The sink in my room had a stopper that prevented the water from escaping when I did not want it to collect in the sink during activities such as brushing my teeth and washing my face. The water was also cold and took an excessively long time to heat up even a little bit. It was not even lukewarm. Therefore, I checked out and was unable to shower. My son actually took a cold shower on a cold day, one of the coldest that we have had in Alabama in a while. I was also awakened by an emergency message and alarm to vacate the building due to an emergency only to learn later that it was a test. I learned this when the fire truck arrived and I heard an employee apologizing for not calling them to let them know that it was only a test. I only stayed overnight so there was no other opportunity for me to get a better impression. The only reason that I did not give a lower rating for the facilities is because once I reported the issue with the shower and sink, they sent a handy man to the room to make the repairs, but my son was already taking a cold shower at the time since we were scheduled to get back home to meet previously scheduled obligations. The staff person who was checking me out said that she couldn't do anything for me because I booked through a third party. However, she did state that she would refund the money that I paid for parking.

The location, facilities, parking, etc. were all fun, and the breakfast was neat. It was in the middle of the city, so the accessibility was good and overall good. I am willing to visit again next time.
I was on travel for my mother-in-law funeral and I had booked the double bed but once I checked in, double bed room was not available, instead I was given a one King size bed. and later on-duty manager provided me with roll away bedroom which took most of the room and very inconvenient to move about in the room.
This is a microtel, which we missed that part. Price is on the high side for this type on room. Seems to be a micro staff as well. The person at the desk also serviced the breakfast area. I enjoyed the new automatic coffee maker. Everything is nice and new, Iâve seen similar hotels that are advertised like this in Japan. If I had known and priced lower I would have been ready for the stay.

DDevi Weems/Kenneth DuffieThis is the ABSOLUTE WORST possible hotel that I could have booked. I was told before check-in that my room had no television nor microwave. The night desk clerk told me that I could contact my booking company and would be given a refund despite the website said no refunds. Since I was going to be there for 3 days, I decided that 3 days without a television nor a microwave would be impossible, so I never checked in. It has taken over a week of being given the runaround to find out that the night desk clerk straight up lied. I did NOT get a refund --not even a partial refund. You can bet that NONE OF THE ROOMS HAVE ANYTHING ON THE AMENITIES LIST, CAUSE I SAW EVERYTHING IN THE OFFICE BEHIND THE DESK!!!! IF YOU BOOK HERE, YOU'RE AN *****!!! I'M WARNING YOU AHEAD OF TIME!!!!! I wish someone would have posted a review warning travelers about their experience, I NEVER would have taken the time that it took us to locate it, especially since they didn't even have a sign up, only a banner that you not only couldn't see, but couldn't have read if you COULD HAVE seen it, because it was all wadded up!!!!! TRAVELERS BEWARE:::: THIS HOTEL IS DEFINITELY NOT WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!!!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET FROM THIS âCHAINâ!!!!!!!!!!
GGuest UserThe reception was kind of rude from the beginning but he wasn't understanding what I was saying so once I told him no my 5 kids wasn't staying in a king size bed with me and my husband he came around a little bit then he was like well how would I know the kids not there and I told him he can come check himself around 9:30 my kids ride will be there at 9:15. But I don't see what the problem was cause what if I couldn't afford the 2 queen size bed room was he just gonna put us out. That's wrong if so but my kids didn't stay anyways they went else where
GGuest UserThe location was great. Very cool that you live in a tower. The breakfast is not bad and is cooked to order. Also the parking is free and right next to the hotel. The best part is that three steps away you have an awesome Mardi Gras museum. I highly recommend the museum.
JjenwhiteMy husband and I and our son had an okay stay. Quite safe . The only thing we weren't happy about is paying full price 131 00 no notice when booking that they are remodeling so there was no breakfast and just a man sitting at the front door with a small table and a computer checking people in the whole down stairs was a mess. I felt bad for the man cause he was the one getting all the complaints from upset guests. But on a good note our room was very clean and the beds are comfortable....
GGuest UserWhen booking we asked that my wife and I be next door to our friend who was going on a fishing trip with us. We also asked to be facing the back parking lot in order to keep an eye on our boat. Â We were told it was taken care of. Â When we arrived, we were on two separate floors and neither room faced the back lot. Â When I told the front desk about it, there was just the âoh manâ response with no attempt to offer to rectify the problem. Â We got no room service on our last night there.
GGuest UserThe two story motel is an older building with no elevators so we were given a first floor queen room instead of the king room ordered. The building structure was well maintained and clean. The room had a broken desk chair the made the desk shoulder height. There were no adjustments to raise the seat. The shower head allowed for about 8 different spray patterns. Unfortunately that did not work. The only one that worked was like a garden hose. The front desk clerk was very nice
GGuest UserGood choice for saving budget.
The room was clean , no musty no smoking smell, a little bit old but outside the room the walkway and stairs were dirty. The location is good. I checked in at almost midnight but the woman was so nice I asked to look in the room first to make sure it was clear and no smoking smell and no musty smell. Breakfast Breakfast is not that good but it is understandable for a 2 star hotel.
