It was a great choice, I was landing at night, so I decided to stay a night at a hotel close by the airport. My sister and her kids checked in earlier and they had a blast. Great service and an amazing diverse and delicious breakfast we enjoyed the next morning together. I have to say, there was only one bit of detail worth mentioning, the frond desk lady helped me call the cab, but she did not mention using Bolt, which is a more expansive taxi service and forgot to mention that she also obviously chose the Comfort option which cost me more at least a 60% extra charge than the normal price. which was displayed on the meter when we arrived but the cab driver asked for more money than that. Overall, we had a nice short stay and enjoyed a late checkout to chill and recover from my trip. Thanks to Novotel Team for the delicious food variety.
Golden Tulip El Mechtel

I had stayed here a few years back on my regular trips to Tunis. I gave up on them a while ago. The place was old, dirty, living in the 70's. But this time, there was a good offer so I took it up. And I am glad I did, what a change. The rooms have had a complete makeover, light, fresh, plenty of space, modern. The bed is super-comfortable and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I dined at one of the restaurants and I could easily have been in a very good European restaurant, the service was great and very friendly. I need a good desk space and storage and the rooms have plenty of it. Power points in abundance, including different types for those of us who aren't European. The bathroom was suitable for one person at a time, water pressure wasn't great, in fact, terrible, but that is my only criticism. Over the past 2 years I have struggled with hotels in Tunis, all very sub-standard in the price bracket I want to pay ( c USD 80-120 ), but I have re-discovered Golden TulipEl Mechtel and will now call this home for the foreseeable future, whenever I am in Tunis. Well done folks.

Tunis City Center
Requested to borrow an iron but was given the brush off. Told to go back the next morning (it seems they do not ''work'' in the evenings). Went to the reception the next morning at least 4 times to ask and remind and each time I was creative answers from ''didn't they give you already?'' to ''it's with another guest'', to finally, ''we don't have any''. If they had simply said they do not provide right from the beginning rather than played around, I would not have been so disgusted with the poor attitude. They offered to press my shirt instead but who would dare trust them after all the run-around, by the very same receptionist?!
The Residence Tunis

The Residence Tunis My stay at The Residence Tunis was simply exceptional. Nestled along the Mediterranean, this hotel seamlessly blends traditional Tunisian charm with modern luxury. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and offer stunning sea views. Dining is a delight with a variety of exquisite options, especially the fresh seafood at L’Olivier. The Thalasso Spa provides an unparalleled relaxation experience, and the attentive staff ensure every need is met with a smile. Whether lounging by the infinity pool or exploring the private beach, every moment here is pure bliss. Highly recommend for a luxurious retreat. Boutheina Bechir Radhouani

Regency Tunis Hotel

I organized an IT event in Tunisia with speakers from around the world, including the USA, Canada, France, Belgium, Switzerland, UAE, India, Bulgaria, Morocco, Denmark, and Congo. We have organized events worldwide, including the USA, Canada, and Asia, covering more than 50 countries during the last 2 years. This time, we chose the Regency Hotel Tunis. The event was visible to audiences all over the world. For the speakers, who are experts in Microsoft technologies and very well-known worldwide, we booked more than 25 rooms for them and had many attendees from Tunisia and worldwide. I would like to thank the commercial staff, Monsieur Walid and Madame Sarah, for their excellent choice of meeting rooms and accommodations. A special thank you also to Madame Manel, the room service manager, for her help, explanations, care for the guests, and her constant smile. Additionally, I want to thank Monsieur Khoubaeb for his excellent choice of room service and timely delivery to the rooms. I also want to acknowledge the other hotel personnel for their efforts. The hotel provided a relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful pool, stunning sea views, and delicious food. I highly recommend the Regency Hotel Tunis for business meetings and holidays.

Thanks to Ahmed for such recommendation, and provided care. We fail in love with such customer service care by all team members specially guest relation manager Wissal! She went beyond the expectations and exceeded it specially when we shared our food feed back. The fact that people care about your feed back and go the extra mile to fix its something we dont see often in tunisia. Keep it up and soon you will be number one in town !
