Hotels With Swimming Pools in Phuket Province, Thailand

I honestly think this was hands down the nicest hotel I stayed in in Thailand after having been to Bangkok and Chiang Mai too. It is very close to the airport making it convenient for late or early flights as well as being nearby the Naiyang beach. I was looking for somewhere quiet that I could unwind and this was the place, it was so idyllic. There probably isn't a great deal of night life but there is the Naiyang Night market which operates a few days a week, and they also offer a free buggy ride to the beach at set times if you don't want the 20 min walk there. I found the bed so comfy and the room has a small sofa, TV, coffee table as well as a sink and fridge. There are some hobs here but no pans so not sure what they are for :) Liked it so much I've booked here again for the day before I fly out of Thailand!

Super Hotel is located near the center of Phuket. Rooms are clean, clean every day. Breakfast is pretty delicious. If you are not transported, 9 minutes walk and bus stop to the most popular beaches. Only a small nuance - staff is hard to speak English. But you can get to the fingers

Spent 2 nights here with my cousin. We love staying here as it is located quite near to the Nai Yang beach. There is a cafe nearby called Chair Cafe, selling nutritious breakfast and other Thai cuisines as well. This hotel has a very nice swimming pool too. There is also a PTT station nearby with few shops like Five Chicken, 7 Eleven, Amazon Cafe and a Pizza restaurant. However, the aircond in the room is not functioning well.

Dara hotel is a great choice for the budget hotel traveler or business traveler. Breakfast is versatile and good. They have a nice pool area and a surprisingly good fitness room too. Friendly staff that is happy to help, the manager was super friendly and every morning wishing a great day to us.

Big bedrooms with comfortable beds. The swimming pool is great for families with children. 7 minutes walking to the beach. Staff is helpful and respectful! The only thing disappointing was the breakfast: basic and repetitive. It could definitely improve the breakfast.

Pro: The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. Clubs, bars, massages, food truck literally just steps away. The room had a balcony with “partial sea view”. The elevators have a panoramic view over the city. Ac was working fine! Bathroom was spacious. Nice pool with bar. Cons: breakfast was the same everyday, excpect they added the leftover food from day before. I have no problem with this, we need to fight against food waist, but the basic selection was boring. Room was extremely noisy. No sound proof doors to the corridor and none to the balcony. There are some clubs steps away and the do extremely loud music till 1-2 am. Please be prepared you need earplugs. The windows needs to be replaced. The cleaning was okay(ish), of course we found hairs here and there.. All in all a good stay, but not sure I would choose again due the extremely loud music.

The various negative points I would like to raise are the following. 1. We had to stay 3 nights in this hotel (no reservation had been made before) and I've made the mistake to pay the entire stay instead of setting up day by day (We had 2 rooms because the hotel does not have a large room. The second day we decided to leave, but the director refused to pay us back the third night. 2. The deposit is too high because it is equivalent to the price of one night. 3. The hotel does not offer breakfast, even in addition. 4. There is no private parking in the hotel. You need to park in the street or use the paying parking at 50 Baths/night. 5. One of the 2 headlights didn't work. 6. The shower flexible was deteriorated, and it was a water spark in all directions. 7. Unable to correctly adjust the water temperature of the shower: either cold or burning. 8. The hotel does not have lift. 9. The rooms side street are very noisy from 6 a.m. due to the market in front of the hotel. 10. The Wi-Fi is mineable. 11. Friendly ”au ras des pâtérettes”.

Stayed in the hotel only as I am leaving very early tomorrow to Khao Lak. Its a good pitstop hotel probably not for long term. The location is not exactly on a prime location. Its in the middle of a road with nothing much happening around. You need to travel 10 minutes by car to get to anything worth mentioning. Other than that the price is very spot on. Less than $20 I paid for a triple room, couldnt really complain much. Room is clean but the age of the room is already showing. Bathroom for instance is mouldy. AC is very loud. But you get past it for the price you pay. Recommended for short stay, not for long term. There's parking with security, which was a plus.

To be honest I am sad that I can’t put 5*stars for this hotel, but everything being “out of order” I can’t do it. I am not very sure why the owners have decided to open this hotel before everything is finished, because it just gives a costumer a very confusing experience. When we arrived we were told that the sauna is out of order, breakfast room is not finished, there is no poolside bar..basically a lot of things what are not finished, but when we booked it didn’t say in anywhere and was advertised as something that’s already there. When you arrive in a hotel and first thing you get is a row of bad news it makes you very disappointed. They told us that they will upgrade us in a better room, but actually the room they offered us was definitely NOT an upgrade. It had a smaller bed than the room before and there was no sitting area anymore. They were saying this is a more expensive room because it is one floor higher and has a view to the pool(!?) We told them that there is not even a couch anymore how can this be an upgrade? But they didn’t really understand what is our problem so they made us feel very stupid and we asked our previous room back, because that one was way better. They told us that pool view rooms don’t have couches in them, but later we saw that they did. But for sure we can say if you are thinking of booking and don’t care about the view then a superior mountain view room is better than the superior high floor room! In high floor pool view room you just have a hard bench and a queen bed instead of the king. They promised to make it all up to us ,but in the end they just ignored this situation and we were left in this “feeling stupid” situation. The other thing that happened with us a lot and we saw it also happening with others was that the keycard just stops working or doesn’t work from the beginning so you have to go to the reception a lot. Poolside bar and breakfast are they are still building,but what I saw they are probably going to be very nice. Sauna worked only one night and even then we didn’t have any lights inside and had to stay in a dark sauna what is not a problem , but still not a good sign..as the next day sauna was not working and in the end it went only until 40 degrees. Very disappointing. But the bed was truly amazing and absolutely new - definitely recommended! The gym was very good with a very good equipment, so definitely pack your running shoes. Maybe in the future it would be nice if there would be some water available in the gym. The swimming pool was very good, but sadly they didn’t have different towels for the pool (probably also something to add in the future!) Also the mirror in the room is in a very dark spot and you should definitely add some lights there. I think as a new and just opened place you should try to provide a better service, but I see if all the “mistakes” are fixed how it is going to be a very comfy place for a relaxing stay. I stayed with my wife, sister, brother-in-law, and nephew in this hotel between December 30th, 2022, and January 2nd 2023. The rooms and facilities were very good, especially when you compare the level of service to the price you paid (50$ a night per room, including breakfast! And on new year’s eve!) Breakfast menu is average and includes an adequate numbers of options and variations. The pool is beautiful, clean, and spacious. But its only problem is being understaffed; there was only one guy who’s in charge of food and beverages as well as the towels! And the poor guy had to walk all the way up across many flights of stairs to get each order from the kitchen! He’s a humble and very helpful guy by the way, so be good and patient with him, Kasim you are the best! The hotel is isolated a little, but they provide free bus trips to Old Phuket Town on daily basis. We had a rented car so we had more freedom to move. Be careful while strolling at night, because you’re literally in the middle of a jungle, there are many kinds of insects and strange creatures roaming in and around the place at night, including billions of mosquitoes! Anyway! I’d definitely love to pay it another visit when I’m in Phuket next time, but only if I have a car or if I’m planning on having secluded time with my wife in the arms of nature.
