Hotels With Pools in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

The environment is quite good, and the room is super spacious. There are malls and restaurants nearby, and transportation is pretty convenient. It's also close to the seaside. Overall, it's not bad, and I would choose to stay here again next time I visit.

For a first-time visitor to Dammam, Saudi Arabia and for the amount that I have paid for, staying at Boudl Al Shatea was, to me, a great decision. Everything that I needed in a hotel for a relatively short 3-night stay was present specially in terms of the room amenities and available facilities at the hotel (e.g. swimming pool). I also appreciated the Reception officer offering to guests Saudi coffee and dates while they do their check-in/check-out procedures. This apparently simple but kind gesture gave me a very nice impression about Saudi culture and hospitality. The room I was assigned was spacious, clean and smelling nice, and fully furnished. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of my room and this was true for the rest of the hotel's premises. In terms of location, the hotel is a short taxi/Uber/Careem ride away from the Dammam Main Bus Station (if you are coming from King Fahd International Airport via the Eastern Region Bus). There is also a not-so-vibrant mall next to the hotel (called Al Shatea Mall), which thankfully had a Carrefour Hypermarket giving me easy access to whatever I had in mind to eat (like breads/pastries, fruits and Saudi treats/snacks). Restaurants and fast food chains are also aplenty and are short walking distance away from the hotel. However, if you would need to explore the more known tourist areas/attractions in Dammam, walking is not an option as these are a bit far off and would require booking a taxi/Uber/Careem. But given another opportunity to visit Dammam in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at Boudl Al Shatea again.

This was my first time staying here and overall, it was slightly above average, despite the false advertisement which I will get into later. Firstly parking here can be a hit and miss depending on when you go. They only have a few spots in front of the hotel but there is free street parking available around the sides etc - a minute or 2 walk away. The hotel itself is quite nice. Big lobby, free complementary 'detox' drink and the service overall was very good. I literally had zero waiting time for check in and the check in itself took no longer than a couple of minutes. Now we get to the false advertisement part which was quite disappointing. I booked a 'Deluxe Double Room with a Sea View' and the only view I had was of the main road, some sand/empty land and the 'sea' which seemed like it was in a different city! I went back to reception to complain but nothing could be done about it and I was told the room I was given was a 'Sea View' room even though the sea was miles away LOL. This was very disappointing tbh and I was expecting better from a hotel of this brand and reputation. The room itself was overall good. It was clean, spacious and quite comfortable. The bathroom was decent but was lacking amenities. Who uses hand soap 🧼 these days?! I find that unhygienic lol. Bathroom overall could have been better. Overall it was a good stay but it could have been, and I was expecting a LOT better considering what I paid so as a result, they lose points on the value for money.

Beautiful, modern hotel in Dammam. Service staff are professional and friendly. Rooms are spacious. Multiple restaurant options. Outdoor pool is relaxing. Fully equipped gym and spa (sauna, steam, ice room…) complex. Highly recommend for travelers.

The hotel's cleanliness is average to good, to be honest. However, I have a complaint about the food. The restaurant has very limited options, and unfortunately, every time I asked for something, it wasn't available. But the location is excellent, right in the middle of everything. Just be careful when you book a standard room; it will be at the very end of the hallway, even though they asked for my preference and I chose a room near the elevator.

Clean sweet room is convenient for those who want to live in the South News.

Overall, the hotel is nice with a great location and lovely views of the gulf. However, there are a few minor issues that unfortunately brought down my rating. For instance, the hotel's exterior windows weren't clean, which affected the sea view. Also, the club lounge didn't offer services like hot water for tea or a coffee machine. Furthermore, the suite was below expectations, and room service didn't clean the room. The health club felt more like a 4-star hotel's facility. Despite these points, its location is good, the reception was welcoming, and the restaurants offered good quality and variety.
